Oh, so the Ukranian Cultural Center that's hosting all the Collective shows only does chairs for the first 3-4 rows. Everything past that including GA is standing room only.
I got the package which includes priority seating so I can try to save spots for people.

Okay a friend panicked because front row TJPW sold out and signed up for the WrestleCon membership anyway. Also they announced TJPW wouldn't be doing a meet and greet at the show but at the convention itself so now he has a use for that.
Still kind of expensive just for early tickets and a swag bag.
The rumor for JJSB is Ibushi vs Janela, which I understand but MAN is that a letdown when Ibushi/Bailey is his other match that week.
Janela is a great taste maker. We've seen it with 2 Cold and PCO and everyone else who chooses to work with him. Scotty 2 Hotty. Great Sasuke. Etc.
Ibushi doesn't really need this unless he's trying to show the world how healthy he is and how weird he wants to get with his brand of wrestling.
But what's the point of booking a show once a year if you don't throw your weight around a little. I'm sure it'll be good but I'm just not jumping out of my seat to see Janela.

Also if I'm in attendance, I don't want to have to follow the match in and out of the building with the rest of the crowd. Isn't the UCC just in the middle of a city street?

I wasn't into DDT when they came to NYC for Mania week however many years ago, and I regret it because they worked a venue in Brooklyn that my friend was the manager of. In the match, Takeshita lifts a random couch someone left on the sidewalk and starts hitting people with it.

I don't think it was caught on video, but when Dr Cube has the truck parked in the middle of the street there was a guy in a car stuck behind it. When Take climbed up the truck and started fighting Number 13, dude jumped out of his car and flipped the fuck out and just joined in watching with the crowd. That whole thing was easily one of my favorite parts of the weekend.
The most recent Talk is Jericho podcast was a tribute to Jay Briscoe. Lots of people (The Bucks, Adam Page, etc) bring up memories and stories of working with Jay. A good listen with not much Jericho talking.

I know he's a crazy workhorse, doing two WWE house shows a night, and the show is near his home in Ohio, but he doesn't need to be there for this. I'm surprised he'd allow himself to miss a makeup date that was a favor to a friend.
Lets just have the Acclaimed vs Gunns match already and move onto something more interesting.
The Gunns are low key great, though. And this storyline is compelling and weirdly sincere and earnest. Having the Ass Boys blame an absentee father for their actions makes sense.
