I also have my grado SR80 in my desk at work
I've used the Tushy model both with and without hot water hookup and I can also attest that it's not a super noticeable difference.
I've always had to have my glasses adjusted by the office to fit my face properly. Either bending then some, changing the angles of the arms, or different kind of pads. That's why I've always just gone through the office for them. I really should just try it though.

Do they have any with ZAFT iconography?
fake-edit: I did! They had some crazy discounts, but the size I settled on, none of the colors appealed, boo. (3.5 qt braiser, since we have an inherited Instapot that covers our slow-cooking needs.) I successfully fought FOMO -- didn't buy _____ only because it was a good deal, and would've regretted because I never used it or disliked the color.
But, um.
Happy anniversary?
My beau is very supportive.
However, for the knowledgeable:
Uh, should I exchange this? We got it from ... Williams Sonoma.
There's more pitting, glaze inclusions, and thinner spots with the iron showing near the top, but it's the only instance I've noticed so far of the iron seeming to actually poke through the surface of the enamel.
The outer glaze is worse; thin over the entire lid in a way that even the outlet pieces didn't exhibit:
Kinda disappointing and stirring some anxiety, but given the lifetime guarantee, I'm going to go ahead and use it for our anniversary dinner tomorrow and go from there.
Its a beautiful peace but I would 100% exchange it. For the price a Le Creuset should be perfect.

Yeah, we have a couple of their pots and have given some as gifts, and every rim we’ve seen looks like that.
When you have a lot of cast iron, you learn quickly to get your feet out of the way.
I just picked up a Lodge enameled Dutch Oven today, 6qt. Going to make that Boeuf Borguignon today that was posted in the cooking thread earlier this week.

But, sidebar:
The point of the first photo was an attempt to show the little volcano spike of iron poking up through the enamel -- the little black spot (horizontally) centered in the pic. On the cooking surface, there's uneven glazing, little flecks of colored glaze, and pinholes, but what was truly notable to me is the extruding bit of iron compromising the smooth interior. Like, it's even a bit sharp.
I have made enough ceramics that I'm comfortable saying someone didn't do their due diligence, but how that intersects with (expectations of) Le Creuset wares, I wasn't sure.
So yeah, thanks for the feedback, it's helpful!
this will be our first one. I was looking at one of the roasting pans around the holidays though. we do a bit of baking things like fish, and veggies, and macs & cheese
Fantastic album, I still have the CD.
He's rocking the Le Creuset.
... There's also the exact one on FB market....
.........!!
Also, why is it people in my region hardly ever put a description or even adequate title on shit they're trying to sell on there? It's something I'll occasionally see on craigslist, but it's almost the default on FB marketplace to just be like, "Bookcase for sale" in the title, and that's it, apparently all the information a potential buyer might want.
I was inspired to make that same recipe last week, it's fucking good
it freezes, restarts or otherwise fucks up about 8 times a day, and actively works against you using it for anything at all (eg the keyboard either periodically collapses for no reason, or opens for no reason and won't minimize). It also has started making it impossible for me to 2FA into my work account, mostly by being way too slow to open apps.
Since apple still isn't 100% comparable with Google fi, plus iPhones are still ridic expensive, I went on the fi site and found I can get a galaxy for free as long as I promise to use it for 24 months
Setting it up now. Excited to find out the new and interesting ways this device will piss me off.
I finally plucked up the courage to call them at the beginning of February to ask about the status of my deeply frivolous purchase, and they said it would definitely be done within the week and they'd call me when it was ready.
I assume the protocol is that I'm supposed to call them now and they'll lie about it being ready tomorrow.
Joke's on them, though, I've still got the further $110 I owe them for the finished product.
OK well for STARTERS, the "enable voice dictation" button is now where the screen minimization button used to be, how dare manufacturers have different standards
My new iPhone doesn’t have a button and it’s like my best friend moved away over the summer.
I am fucking bereft.

I have eye insurance and lemme tell y'all that it's a f'ing racket. Even after insurance pays for shit I still have to pay upwards of 300 bucks for glasses at my optometrist. Bring my prescription to Walmart results in significant savings even though they didn't even take my insurance.
optometrists are a scam (to buy glasses from). Order from Warby Parker or Eye Buy Direct (or Zenni Optical if you want REALLY cheap, but they can be slightly hit or miss).
please send it to my house where we'll be doing a full refurbish on it, don't worry you'll have it back within a brief 36-60 business month RMA period
oh and include any games and controllers and maybe some snacks and mountain dew and a large pepperoni pizza, so we can test those as well
