Found these at a local game and toy store. The owner told me to reach out on Facebook (bleh) or Instagram (yuck) because he was sure he had more in storage.

$20 total. I have no idea if that's bad or good on whatever cosmic eBay scale exists, but worth it.

I tried to do more consumption for organizing/decor (I decluttered compost & recyclables, and finally dropped off a couple boxes & bags of donations!), but I'm content with the Tufte book and Revereware pot from my favorite thrift store. They're kinda more vintage than thrift now and I'm the kinda dirtbag that wants to rummage for a deal, but as the Quiltbag charity shopfront, they still get most of my donations regardless.

  • I've been kind of annoyed that the Mountain Goats hadn't announced any touring dates in Seattle and I just discovered they'll be playing at a zoo in Seattle in August which is...I probably have to go to that, huh

  • RanlinRanlin Oh gosh Registered User regular
Well yeah, 'cause then you get to say you're going to the zoo to see the mountain goats

As with all goats in zoos, pet John Darnielle at your own risk.

Are you eating the shells there, bud?

Well they say the most nutritional part of the fruit is in the rind, so I just kind of figured...

I sometimes eat the outer clothes of the orange, but their underwear is kind of nasty.

gross fact: did you know that meat comes from inside the animal, the same place that poop is stored???

Did you know that unborn babies sometimes poop inside the womb?

This sometimes results in premature birth as the baby desperately tries to flee its own dutch oven.

Meta layoffs: Facebook owner to cut 10,000 staff
Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, has announced that it will cut 10,000 jobs.

It will be the second series of mass redundancies from the tech giant, which laid off 11,000 employees in November 2022.

What if we were to, say, cook outside the house?

so we, like, pull out the food and grill and people and everything from the house cloaca ?

Texted "the door is the cloaca of the house" to my boyfriend and he texted back "really the foyer is the cloaca, I think the door is more of a sphincter."
    Glad we nailed that down.

In the South, we call it the “mud room”

Hell, New Jersey, it said on the letter. Delivered without comment. So be it!

He's right, doors are definitely sphincters. I think your house only has a cloaca if you have a built-on garage, because you can get anything in or out of there.
