The Mario movie was very popular having countless scenes to homage the games. So the Gran Turismo movie should be untouchably popular for having people play the game in the movie, and then have other characters note how talented, wonderful, and impressive those characters are for having played it.
(I think this is kind of interesting conceptually, does a sim make you competitive vs traditional methods, etc. But the fawning advertisement for the product part makes me doubt the quality).
I don't really know how fawning it is for the product when half the trailer is a guy yelling about how videogame racing is bullshit and being in a real car is completely different.
I'm looking forward to it because I like Blomkamp as a director and car racing movies tend to make for really good movies.
I mean, poking fun at learning to drive from a game sort of loses its edge when the movie's premise is that it completely worked...
I don't know why but this poster immediately made me start reimagining Dune as a musical where everyone talks like 1950s urban youth and does dance fighting

I bought Dungeons and Dragons on Amazon, and all the ad copy around this says that you get all the bonus features with a digital purchase. But for the life of me I cant find it. It's not on the Prime app, but for a lot of movies with extra features you can link your account to Movies Anywhere and watch them on that service. But Paramount movies are not included on Movies Anywhere. So where the fuck am I supposed to watch the bonus stuff?

A lot of the time on Amazon purchases the extra features are all tacked on at the end of the film, so it has a crazy 3.5-4 hour runtime if you look at it.

When you pause things on Amazon you usually get a little thing that lets you check out the cast and trivia. Evidently (I haven't tried it myself yet) there's a section also included for bonus features on stuff with that available https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/entertainment/what-is-x-ray-on-prime-video edit: I'll trust what Ketar said, because like I said I haven't really seen anything on Amazon with bonus features period, so idk if my link is even still relevant, it has a link to a broken page inside for example lol
When I get stuff on Vudu it just automatically is available for me to click on on the same page as I would to watch the film
It rules up until the exact moment it doesn’t, then it sucks forever
There is some debate as to where this moment is but it’s never past book four
it is exactly at the end of book 4

I kinda dig that they went with Dune: Part One and Part Two, rather than trying to to stick some rando subtitle like Sand of Arrakis / Water of Life / Eclipse / There and Back Again or something on it.
I mean, you just know some Hollywood producer/marketing exec was pitching a thousand different subtitles and Villeneuve was just like "Non, c'est 'Dune'" and just wandered off to do something more interesting.

This is no Need for Speed though so I will once again mock in relentlessly.

I wonder how different the trajectory of everything would be if he'd gotten to do that Halo film
And also that Alien film

So then I tried to read the books and I'm sorry, but they're poorly written and not a great experience.
Anyway that trailer for DUNC2 looks like the same dense unexplained shit you got in that first movie and that's okay
And also why it sucks ass.
That gets processed in the thighpads.
