Avatar sidebar and sig not formatted properly?

Title says it all really and hopefully you'll be able to see from this post. The avatar side bit gets squashed and the sig appears messed up. What do I need to do to fix this?

Ok, seems fine here but look at this page for example:

    http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=22141&page=9

Is it appearing messed up to everyone or just on this computer?

    Edit: Test

Yeah, your sig got messed up.

I think it is because you edited that post, if you'd edit your post here, it would push the two pictures on the right a line down as well.

You're right. Does mean my sig is too wide?

IIRC the recommended sigsize is 500x40 or 80 (depending subforum).

I would delete the dog and the yellow pokemon-thingamajig.

I forget what thread we brought this up in, but I know that we've mentioned this before... Even with text sigs (like quotes and such), things can get squished up and take up more vertical space than normal after someone has edited their post.

This is worse because the image sig can't be squished vertically, so it squishes the Avatar sidebar. The solution that was proposed was simply moving the bar with the edited info (and the Edit, Report buttons, etc.) down below the sigs. I don't know what happened from there.

If I make more room, sigs will end up creeping up in size to fill the available space. The available space right now is just enough space for a sig of our stated size limits on a 1024x768 monitor. I apologize to that 1-2% of our users that are running less than 1024x768.

It's 500x80 on every subforum, now.
