Uninstallation woes

I was very recently uninstalling a game and during the uninstallation process there was a power cut and now I can't complete the uninstallation, nor can I play the game. This takes up a reasonably large amount of my HD and so I'd like to get rid of it. How can I remove it from my HD without using the standard uninstaller? Thanks in advance.

    try re-installing the game then un-installing it again.

    Go to the forums for the game's company. There is often listed, or you can request, the manual uninstallation method.
    Note: If you can no longer uninstall the game, I almost guarantee you will have to do some registry editing.
