There's just The Initiative comic? I've seen comics like Iron Man: The Initiative, New Avengers: The Initiative, ect., had no clue there was just a main book going.
Aside from the Initiative banner, it just says 'Avengers' - it completes the current Avengers threesome of Mighty, New, and Initiative.
Ah, okay. That makes more sense. One last stupid question and I'll stop derailing the thread, do I need to get The past 2 issues of The Avengers to catch up, or The Initiative: Mighty, New, and Avengers?

Mighty Avengers, New Avengers, and Avengers: The Initiative are 3 seperate titles with seperate storylines, you dont need to read the other 2 to understand whats going on. If you are asking if you should get the first 2 issues of Avengers: The Initiative, then yes, cause it's a great book.
