Well, that’s the entire SU index completed. Still 4 more abilities to unlock but that’s just a matter of grinding. Hopefully they bring a new aeon and some curios when they release world 7!
Still missing one more 2 Star Elation blessing for 100% but also four skills left to buy so I guess I can try throwing Jing and Clara at SU 3-3 with Natasha and Fire TB to see if I can proc it.
holy crap the boss in 5-2 does A LOT more damage than I was prepared for.
Going for Abundance is tailor-made to counter her. As long as you aren't too unlucky and can grab enough blessings to get the cleanse resonance modifier she's fairly easy.
ETA: Speaking of unlucky, just did a SU run where I only got 4 Hunt blessings total even though I was on that path and had the wax seal as well. I also gave the galactic lotto curio another chance and this time it didn't do anything until first elite. Then I got to the Respite location and hit the pile of two green and one purple cylinders as I always do. The curio went off, giving me 3 new curios and dropping me to 1% hp. Weird run.
I'm a bit amused at the "If you have this guy, this other guy is 11/10!!!!!1 but if you don't, he is -6/10!!!!!1" ratings. Even if they sort of make sense, I mean I wouldn't be going for Luocha if I had Bailu.

From my anecdotal experience, taking a seal from the same as your path seems to dramatically reduce the frequency of those blessings. I think it’s likely a bug but it seems pretty reproducible when I’ve tried it.
Hold off on rolling for SW for a bit, apparently she keeps getting reworked so even the theorycrafters like Grimro don't know exactly what she'll be capable of and if it'll be worth rolling

They definitely won't change her after release, but yeah they've been working on her constantly since her first iteration in closed beta because she was kinda a little too good at inception.
I'm pretty confident that she'll at least be good, but I'm unclear on how much she will have to sacrifice in order to get her Effect Hit% in a good enough place to be reliable against bosses. Either way, I'm sitting just before soft pity and I have more than 100 rolls available. I'm gonna slam that 50/50 immediately, and I'll do some planning after that. If I don't get her, then I'll do some research to figure out if it would be worth it to continue rolling; I might just wait for Luocha after that regardless. Unless the standard character I get winds up being Bailu.
So far I have not hit a daily quest “payoff” though I really only do them if my other +200 daily is like do forgotten halls and I don’t want to bother.
But so far all of them have just been do 3 quests with the same person no resolution go to a different person

Got to level 50 and raised up the equilibrium level so I could ascend my characters again. And was able to ascend all six of the main characters I use until oops, suddenly I have no money!
I knew it was coming and it still caught me off guard.

Some of them have mini storylines that do resolve, like the one with the old man retiring from the military in Belobog who wants some kind of achievement to show his family. Others remain around so there's always one to do each day.
Switching weapons .. err, LCs from crappy 3*s to a decent 4* with better base stats sucks with how many resources it needs for a little gain, and I knew it would suck since I came from Genshin but I still leveled up those 3* LCs. At least when I get Luocha I can give Nat her crappy 3* back, it's not such a big deal when she only uses it in MoC team #2.
Other than doing that I'm not super sure what I should be doing. I could try to get Himeko's traces leveled up but that pisses me off given her 5* tax and up to 50% more expensive traces. Or I could work on March and Tinguyn even though I only use them in FoH/MoC and I'm not aiming to do that before I get my second healer. Or I guess I could farm all the ascension mats for that last ascension even though I'm only 55, I suppose that takes a long while too. Just character ascensions for 5 people is going to cost nearly 700k, LC ascensions are going to be like 900k.
I solved the problem of high cost for ascending stuff by not having any light cones worth spending on. Only having the one 5 star character also helped with that. I've been spending stamina on experience books. I might actually do the enemy experience grind, because I have nothing else to spend time on in game.
I only got any of the 3* cones up to 20 before I had enough 4* random pull and f2p options to replace them all on people I’m using, until I get to like the 4th hunt character on my list (sorry Dan heng).
Except for chorus, which I had put to 50 before getting a better option.
I made the mistake early of putting all the 3s to lvl 20 and then never used almost any of them. I thought maybe this would be a game where s5 3* would be baseline and also I just thought it made symmetrical sense. Though I didn’t know I couldn’t salvage them if you level or superimpose so…
Long story short no one really knows how good she is and won't know until she's released and they can actually try out her stuff because it's not as simple as it appears. Fitting for the person whose hacking skills literally transcend reality to edit existence itself.
Any idea how many pulls we are getting in 1.1? I could get both SW and Luocha if I won one 50/50 (risky). Or I could possibly get both even if I lose a 50/50 if we get enough wishes. My pity is at 35, next 5* is guaranteed and I have something like 120 wishes right now.
Yeah, that's how it works in Genshin, too. The BP ends and then there's just nothing for 24+ hours until the patch and the new BP.
If anyone's concerned about earning points on the new BP, might be worth holding off on some activities, until they once again count.
Well Genshin over time fixed all the BP wonkiness. Most stuff will now retroactively count and they got rid of or fixed tasks that used to lock you out for a week (originally a task was to kill a world wolf boss, and it wouldn't respawn. Now not only does it respawn, it's not a specific task and instead a more generic "kill 3 bosses" task". The one singular task you can still bork yourself out of on Genshin patch day is the one for doing 4 daily tasks, and the points you lose on that are miniscule. Meanwhile Star Rail has a much easier "Reach 500 daily points", and I'll bet that'll count. I think the only task you could possibly flub is spending 150 trailblaze power, because if you spend them all that day, you might not have enough to do it without spending fuel. And again, a miniscule amount of points, I wouldn't worry about it.
TL;DR: I really don't see anything you can do to miss out on points. Don't spend your power until after the patch if you really care... but you really don't have to care.
"The sausage of Green Earth explodes with flavor like the cannon of culinary delight."
I can totally understand being careful since this is the first new battlepass of this particular game. Although, also like Genshin, it's pretty trivial to cap out the battlepass well in advance if you're playing each day. Anyone who's playing daily can basically not worry about it at all.

In the Genshin battle pass you don't even have to loot the bosses, just kill the lowest level version of a boss and leave.

So clarify some stuff for me:
If I have not Broken a shield, am I doing full damage?
Do some Breaks count for more than others? Fire TB seems to do way more break damage.
Are all these L70 Seeles throwing friend invites at me just looking to let me use their Seele to farm so they earn credits?

Dang, I gotta get a secondary team geared up so I can break in to Memory of Chaos. Maybe I hit Trailblaze level 50 this week. I'm about halfway through 47 right now.

Enemies take -20% damage unless they're weak to an element. They take -40% if they resist an element (not sure I've seen this in action, or not noticed it yet). When they're unbroken, they also take -10% damage in general.
There's a stat called Break Effect that uh...effects how much your break does. Each element also does a different thing when they break, some don't do bonus damage.
Break effects do instant damage, delays enemy action, and has a very high chance (but can be resisted) to slap a Damage over Time on the enemy. Looking at a wiki, each element has differing break damage to balance for their accompanying DoT.
Physical - Very high Break Damage, Bleed debuff that scales off enemy max health (hello Elden Ring) but has a cap
Fire - Very high Break Damage, Burn debuff that has moderate damage over time
Ice - Moderate Break Damage, Freeze debuff for moderate damage that skips the target's next turn to unfreeze but advances their turn after that by 50%
Lightning - Moderate Break Damage, Shock debuff that inflict very high damage over time
Wind - High Break Damage, Wind Shear debuff that stacks up to five times
Quantum - Low Break Damage, Entanglement debuff that delays enemy action by 20% with a bigger DoT that builds with each hit (up to five) then ticks all at once on expiring
Imagination - Low Break Damage, Imprisonment debuff that delays enemy action by 30% and reduces their speed
Looks like if I lose my next 50/50 I might need to buy one express pass (or possibly paid BP) to get Luocha which isn't a bad deal. That's assuming I need to go all the way to 80ish every time.

As someone with Seele and Gepard, I'm feeling a lot better about my plan to go for broke rolling for SW at the cost of any next upcomings.

Good advice.
I probably will not be following it.
We don’t get real balancing.
It’s super interesting that they’re still working on her though, it feels like the kind of kit that could break the game
edit: oh hey i got my first lightcone drop from echoes of war. wonder what the drop rate is lol, roughly once a patch?
I'd rather help the rich snob try to get "friends" so I can roast him. This is just creepy.

It decided I needed a super-early Bailu (like pull 40) just before
Given it stuck me with Battle Xingqiu Yanqing off the intro banner - who seems good, but not the right carry for the fights I have - I felt relieved.
Interesting that the whole thing just went away from the menu for a day lol instead of just being like disabled.
Looks like it’s early evening tomorrow if I’m remembering clocks? UTC+8 I’m pretty sure is +13 from me in CST
