The text on the mocked up Pepsi can and ketchup bottle in the image is dead straight. It doesn't curve with the can like it would in real life.
For 40 dollars they could get a fully 3D mapped can that would automatically simulate the exact curve of the can with any artwork you dropped onto it. It would take less time and also look better. But they didn't bother.
Basically it's a bad Photoshop and I'm complaining that I care more about the quality of a Photoshop than a company that does 85 billion dollars in revenue each year.
I'm way more annoyed by the bad shopping of the shadows and the clearly not aligned table everything "sits" on.
But yeah, it looks like a cheapass Amazon product picture
Using cola as shortcut for making BBQ sauce is a time honored southern tradition. (See also, the hundreds of Dr. Pepper and Coke BBQ Sauce recipes online) But typically that's used in addition to the ketchup and several other things to create the flavor.
Pepsi is also a cursed beverage so this can only end poorly.
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"
Coke be drunk lukewarm and still be a palatable beverage. Pepsi has to be served ice cold to approach something worth tasting. Higher maintenance loses out in my book most of the time.
Both pale in comparison to Dr. Pepper, but we'll let that go for the sake of keeping scope to just the big 2.

The cola hierarchy is known, and it is as follows:
Mexican Coke > Pepsi > Coke
Throw all the variants and diets out of the discussion.
Pepsi makes and sells a cane sugar version directly. No need to buy overpriced import.
Well, me being an hour from the border changes the math a lot on this. It must also change Pepsi's math, because I've never seen that Pepsi but every store, even fucking Costco, carries Mexican Coke here.

I live in AZ a couple hours from the border everyone carries Mexican Coke but a 4 pack of glass bottles costs as much as a case with 12 cans so 3x the price before any weekly sales on cases of soda.
I actually bought a bottle of Pepsi and a bottle of coke once and poured them together in a glass to see how the taste would be
It was not bad but it was not as good as pepsi or Coke by themselves I woul rank it slightly below rc cola personally I enjoy rc cola sometimes even though people say horrible things about it

I wish I got paid a gatrillion dollars to come up with horrifically stupid ideas that will fail utterly and cost a company billions of dollars.

I know it's all just our opinions and such, but warm coke tastes like how I imagine battery acid tastes. Pepsi sucks warm too, but way less so than Coke, for me.
I think Coke is pretty gross overall though. Every now and then, ice cold, it's okay. I'm definitely with you on Dr Pepper being way better than both.
At this point I try to stick exclusively to zero calorie versions, so it's mostly Dr Pepper and the various Mt Dews zero for me.
Just this week am trying the guava and passion fruit (regular) dews, they're pretty decent. Hope one or both makes it to a zero version.
Yeah Fresca is my go-to. I tried the zero sugar A&W for awhile but I think it triggered some kind of gastrointestinal distress so I haven't tried it again.

I do too
but none of that is happening in this instance.
Someone getting paid probably 20 bucks an hour came up with this idea and it cost the company maybe a couple thousand bucks at most and the fact that the tweet got a decent amount of engagement means that it didn't fail at all.
Very good, actually. They were only giving it out as like, little half a tablespoon dollops on a third of a hot dog (it was free, at least).
I did manage to convince the guy to fill up my little 3 ounce condiment bottle, though. I have to decide what to do with it. But yeah I'd give it like a 92/100, would probably pair even better with mustard.

I'll do my best. And not only that, I'm going to bring an empty condiment squeeze bottle and see if I can pirate some of this shit.
You would download a Colachup, wouldn't you?!

Cheerwine is a cherry flavored pepper soda from North Carolina. It's pretty great 👍
It's an earth drink
It's called root beer
Eeh, I don’t know….
Root beer hasn't been the same since the fire drinks attacked.
It's sickeningly sweet.
Like the Federation.
why won't it let me agree more than once, this is bullshit

They never intended anyone to buy pepsi ketchup.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
