However, we are now 3 pages deep (out of 5), and nothing has happened yet.

This is the opposite of in medias res. This is a slow burn start. Which is ironic for a comic about spiritual race-cars.

I bought a bidet at the start of the pandemic, and it was the, at the time smartest, and best thing I've ever purchased. I cannot go back.

Mostly from reading the post, he got outsmarted by a smart-bidet. And that made him opposed to bidet's. Double embarassing.

I knew as soon as Jerry announced he was going to Japan that there would be an inevitable smart toilet story.

I really like the ones that play the Evangelion chip-tune theme at the same time. It's oddly fitting.
