Shit, I really need to play these games. Though that does remind me of how many times I accidentally killed Link via fall damage during the tutorial area in Tears of the Kingdom.
After playing Breath of the Wild, it was much too easy to think "now I'll just deploy my paraglider and glide down from here!" without actually having a paraglider...
I'm also curious as to which AC he's playing. Valhalla has a lot less hay than other ACs. I found that game is quite... accommodating to falling deaths.
Yeah, I went a good chunk of the early game missing the part where you open the towers and get the glider, because I just love to explore and hate following the main quests. Finally when the lady took me up in the balloon and expected me to jump out, I realized I had missed something and went looking.
That was something that BotW did better, in that you couldn't even leave the Great Plateau without getting the glider first.
Time is a flat circle.
It is a real thing, and it does integrate with AC.
It's kind of clunky though.
Joe: "What do you want me to dooo!?"
Jigsaw: "This time *I* am playing. Results the same though."
Be real awkward when Jigsaw had to stop to recharge it.
It's up there, but there is definitely a history of serious gore. I think it's been awhile since we had something this gnarly.
I'm a big fan of this one
I could see more of a market for haptic feedback with VR games. AC played with a controller just feels too disengaged from the body to really feel interesting.

Yah yo, I play Armored Core with a modified famicon controller
Putting aside how unpleasant it would be to have a suit that punches me while i'm suiting in my couch, with me i don't think it would even serves its purpose of being more immersive. Heck, even rumble never really did it for me because it just reminds me i have a controller in my hands, which to me generally make the game less immersive.
Definitely sounds like something that will go well with VR someday.
It also (like VR) seems like something that a certain industry will be among the firsts to adopts.
Edit: I could see some overlap in mech simulators too.
