My first CD was the single of I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith.
I wasn't bullied as a child but I probably should have been.

I can't sit for very long without my sciatica(?) acting up and causing burning in my thighs and I can't stand for long without my knees aching and whatever this thing in my foot is acting up.
Bring me my cyborg body please, this one isn't working right anymore.

My first two cassettes were the Dangerous album and the TMNT live tour, respectively.

I had the TMNT Live Tour cassette. I can still sing some of the songs!
“Yoooo…there’s Donatello…even for a turtle…he’s mellow. It’s simple it’s simple what makes him grin, just give him any give him anything give him anything that you plug in”
The first album I bought with my own money was Linkin Park's Meteora and I still have the album in my box of CDs because I am the rare person under 30 who kept (and never stopped collecting) CDs, instead of being one of those kiddies who collects vinyl records
The first CD I bought new was Genesis' 1991 release We Can't Dance. It hasn't held up.
First game I bought (maybe I stole it from B. Dalton Software Etc.?) was Wasteland.

Here is a crazy aging story
I took a dual cassette player to the pawn shop so I could get Wu Tang Forever on release day
My first CDs though, I bought Willenium, Incubus Make Yourself, and Dr Dre 2001 for my brand new discman.
Bit of a tonal shift every time I changed discs at work

I just remember Shredder saying "I. Hate. Music." And the mellow jam of skipping stones.

I don't remember what the first cassette I ever purchased was, but I do remember that I won a radio station contest by correctly answering the question "What was Alvin of Alvin and the Chipmunks favorite instrument? I received this selection of tapes in the mail a couple of weeks later.
Johnny Hates Jazz: Turn back the Clock
Tiffany(self titled)
Robert Plant: Now and Zen
Heart: Bad Animals
INXS: Kick
Fleetwood Mac: Tango In the Night
Think the first CD/music I ever "owned" was Tattoo You by the Rolling Stones that my dad got me for my twelfth birthday, which honestly is a banger of an album, but not the nineties nostalgia-bomb everyone else's has been (I didn't get to/choose to listen to "current" music until about ninth grade)
The first cassette tape me and my brother got was a Weird Al album or The Simpsons: Songs in the Key of Springfield.
I couldn't tell you which Weird Al album because there's a few of them that are indelibly imprinted upon my memory.
Oooh, that reminded me of the simpsons cassette we got, The Simpsons Sing the Blues, I haven't thought about that in ages, I wonder if any of those songs still sound good
Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory was the first CD i ever wanted. Didn't actually buy it though as a friend of my mom's made me a copy. I wasn't really that into music in my childhood, still not really.

That was the first cassette I got as a gift alongside a walkman.
Following the pattern, my first CD was Alapalooza.

My second CD purchase:
I got so embarrassed by that growing up, but looking back now...good taste, young me.
First CD was CrazySexyCool by TLC, which.....I honestly didn't end up liking very much aside from Waterfalls.
Took me a little bit to break out from "stuff which was on the radio when my mom was driving the car" musically.
Waterfalls? How about
Diggin’ on You
Creep
Red Light Special
Somethin’ Wicked This Way Comes??
Hell! Let’s Do it Again?
I love that album
First CD was John Henry by TMBG

First CD was Haddaway's The Album
🎶 What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more! 🎵
My first cassette tape was Thriller. Not a lot of good choices after that one, though.
First I bought myself was I think Coheed and Cambria's Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
I 'member.
First game I bought (maybe I stole it from B. Dalton Software Etc.?) was Wasteland.
I took a dual cassette player to the pawn shop so I could get Wu Tang Forever on release day
My parents instituted some RULES on the first road trip with that one. I'm surprised it didn't end up out the window
