Hey guys, gals, and non-binary pals!
Ever wanted to hang out with some other Attendees before PAX even starts?? Are you in Melbourne and free on Wednesday, 4 October 2023? Well, you’re in luck!
A group of us are planning on heading to Holey Moley in Crown for some putt putt and a feed.
So, what exactly will we be doing?
On the Wednesday before PAX Aus 2023, we are going to meet up at Crown Holey Moley to play some mini golf. After that, we will find somewhere to sit down and have some dinner. We may do more or less depending on how things go and how people feel. Maybe a walk-by of the MCEC? Who knows.
Okay, that sounds fun. When is it again?
It’s on Wednesday, 4 October 2023 at an undetermined time. We could meet up at noon and stay out until 10, who knows? Let’s figure that out in the comments.
Alright, but how much should I expect to spend?
So this is a tough one. The price changes depending on how many people and how many holes we do. You should be prepared to pay at worst $20 for 9 holes and $40 for 18 holes. 9 holes lasts around 20 minutes and 18 holes lasts around an hour. The price for dinner is whatever you purchase. It’s unknown where we will go or if we even go at all.
Wow, this sounds fun. How do I get there?
It’s in the Crown Casino building which is only a 10 minute walk from the MCEC. Head south down Clarendon St, cross the street to the south side of Whiteman, turn left (east) on Whiteman, and it will be on your right. Holey Moley is up one level.
Who should I expect to see there?
This is not an Official event. There is no guarantee anyone of note will be present. Participation numbers are unknown at moment.
How can we discuss this?
Well we are chatting about it in the PAX Aus community discord but this is the best place to get information about the event (unless we can get a thread in the discord.)
