I have long argued to my friends that Titanfall is one of the most underrated Video Game Franchises out there. The way the game can seamlessly transition from fps parkour styled shootouts to massive robot battles is unique in gaming. The gameplay was incredibly tight and well balanced. I loved the single player mode of Titanfall 2, though I will admit that the second half of the game starts get a little bland and repetitive. So, a third entry into the franchise would be a very welcome announcement to me. (Of course, this is EA, so they'll find someway to turn my wishes against me like some malevolent djinn.)

As a long-time Titanfall fan, I honestly think the strongest indication they're planning something new with Titanfall is that they've paid any attention at all to the problems the earlier games had.

They don't want people seeing "Titanfall 3" and looking back at Titanfall 1 & 2 and seeing the complete mess Respawn just allowed the games to become while still selling both games as if all the advertised features still worked. They sure didn't give a fuck until now.

On the other hand, the Titanfall 2s that I bought for my nephew at like £3 each a couple of months ago has been pretty good value. Hey, it's a new release to them
