Going back to the heavaily rolled Rs, the realization that the Japanese R sound is by default a kind of rolled R really finally helped that click in my head after all these years of, even hearing it, never knowing how to replicate it. Also helps you feel why R and L kind of flow into one a other with how it handles English words
I've pretty much always stuck with green, but changing shades. I said in the last thread that Crayola had a dark blue-green called jungle green that I liked, but now I lean more toward dark greens. I think I'm just basic because my birthstone is Emerald and I stick with that
I remember loving rolling R's when I was in Spanish class in HS and then System of a Down's "Sugar" hit the radio at the time, and while I loved the song in general, I was mesmerized by someone rolling a "B"

Yeah but even in Japanese there is the "tough guy" stereotypical accents (usually Hiroshima or Kansai) where they will trill/roll the Rs for emphasis

Oh definitely
oddly for me (or the most obvious thing in the world given my interests) is the one where it clicked was learning to properly say the name of Haruki from Ultraman Z; just a very very light roll on that R but it makes a world of difference from using an English R on it
gray is my favorite color
i felt so symbolic yesterday
What's super funny about that song is that there's nothing symbolic about it, it's about the time the singer and his friend Marty Jones went to a flamenco bar and wanted to talk to a woman but were too nervous to.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor My new novel: Maledictions: The Offering. Now in Paperback!
Damm I missed out on a presidential election debate! Fuck
"In the beginning the election debates were spaced apart 24 weeks. Then 12, then 6, then every 2 weeks. In 4 days we could be seeing a debate every 8 hours until they are coming every 4 minutes. We should witness a double event within 7 days.”
Ok I think I had gotten it in my head that Riley Hawk was she/her because I read Riley as a feminine name, I don't think he has ever gone by she/her pronouns though. I'm just dumb apparently lol.

We gotta get all our excrement into the tenement
You don't have to invent a better PG version, "get our ducks in a row" is already G rated

It slides
Mugi still hasn’t gotten her winter coat in; despite Tsukushi’s own winter floof giving appearance otherwise, Mugi is the biggest of the trio

Linoon? Also Tanu
Aubergine has a good mouth feel, but all my other associations to it are negative.
Grapheme’s synesthesia?
