Prescription sunglasses without polarization

It's coming up on the end of the year and I recently had an eye appointment and my doctor said my prescription didn't change (low correction, spherical eyes) so I thought it might be a good idea to use my annual $200 credit on a pair of sunglasses since I still like my current eyeglasses. The hangup here is that I'd like them for driving and my car has a HUD that does not work when wearing polarized lenses so I was hoping to get some RX sunglasses that are not polarized. Insurance typically works great using Warby Parker but their metal aviators (the style I'd like) run around $250 with prescription lenses and I'd rather not have to pay anything since I already put down a big chunk of money on my vision insurance every year.

Does anyone have experience with any other online retailers that offer decent looking/quality aviator frames with non-polarized lenses, out the door for <$200?

Did you check the HUD controls? While polarized lenses do cut the brightness of mine, with it turned all the way up it is still visible. Otherwise my family members that wear glasses all get them from Costco because the price savings end up making membership essentially free.

Unfortunately yes, maybe the Maui Jim's I have just work really well because they cut 95% of brightness, I have to turn my head sideways to get around the polarize block but that's not very comfortable or ergonomic. I'd rather not gamble on "bad polarization" and deal with returns and processing benefits reimbursement.

I do love my Maui Jim’s, but they are very spendy. Zenni is fine, I’ve used them before, but these days I do retailer that takes my insurance and get frames and lenses. With my current insurance, Lens crafters is the preferred store, but if I’m burning FSA money I’ll get a pair of Maui Jim’s as well.

Not sure about the price with insurance but Flying Eyes make good, durable sunglasses for pilots, motorcyclists, and the like that typically come non-polarized by default.
