A crime against art to that degree is grounds to start talking to Tycho about Bookshots™.

    Points?

Should that be pounds or is that a in-game measurement?

It's a game term. Every squad is worth a certain number of points, and you decide before the game how many points each side will field. Two Thousand is a pretty standard amount, so "two thousand points of models" basically means one full army's worth of models.

Perhaps he could bring a few of James Patterson's riveting Bookshots™ with him to enjoy on the plane.

I shudder to think how much credit card debt you'd run up for two thousand pounds of 40k models, even if you're saving on paint supplies.

On the other hand, two thousand pounds sterling might get you a couple of troops squads and an HQ.

Hey if you're writing comics and promoting them, they probably can throw you a few pallets.

    Heheheheh.

The deal with Tyranids, is that they are one of the armies with highest model count per point, so anybody that had to go through painting a lot of Nid models can sympathize with "fuck it, just throw them all in a few gallons of paint and sort it out after".
