Fwiw I picked the Over because I expect Iowa’s defense/ST to score at least once on mistake-prone Nebraska

Cool feature from ESPN about the roots of a potential space-themed rivalry between UCF and Houston.
"NASA has Space Act agreements with both schools," said Wayne Saxer, the agency's lead for sports engagement. "We work collaboratively with universities nationwide that bring innovative solutions and fresh perspectives to some of our biggest challenges."

To celebrate both schools' roles supporting America's space agency, NASA flew a newly minted medallion featuring the logos of each school on opposing sides on CRS-29, a SpaceX mission to the International Space Station a couple of months ago.

Launched from Florida, guided by Houston, the medallion will come back to Earth, where it will be framed and presented to the winning team.

    Welcome to the Space Wars.

That is my exact same thought process. I am hoping special teams can help out with some field goals as well.

I picked the under, but if Nebraska wants to go off and destroy Iowa, I would not complain about losing those points.

It's looking like up to 3 inches of snow for Farmageddon. I love a good snow game at The Bill. It takes me back to the 2000 game against Nebraska and Willie leading the cheers from the top of the press box with snow coming down all around him. That's still one of my favorite moments.

    BOILER UP!

    GO IRISH!

Now if you will excuse me, I gotta get back to looking for the one household/bar/casino in north central Indiana that has the PAC-12 Network...

    You’d think that, but no.

Only cowards would choose the over here. You cannot root for the over.

If it was points by the offense only, hell no would I take the over

I feel like Nebraska is going to gift Iowa 2 D/ST TDs tho

I have seen a picture from at least one sportsbook that the total for Iowa-Nebraska is down 23.5. At bigger books it seems to be 24.5.

    Y'all got off easy.

What I really want is a book that will give me odds on Iowa's defense/special teams to outscore both offenses combined

It's just nuts that it could be 14-10 and hit the over. Then again, with Nebraska's QB issues the under is just very much in play.

It's pretty funny watching all the smack talk with Ohio and Michigan guests checking out.

Guys, we're in the south. No one here gives a damm about Michigan or Ohio state. Save it for when you get home to your frozen wastelands.

I've been watching my daughter and niece all morning and just turned on the Iowa game. Saw 0-0 and thought "as all things should be" and then Iowa suddenly got a big positive yardage play and actually got a goal line rush for the TD. Hopefully they get too tired to actually keep scoring so I can get my Under points.

So going into the last 10 minutes of the 4th quarter of the Iowa-Nebraska game tied 10 all:

    - A touchdown with a PAT by either team seals the over
    - Up to two field goals by one team wins the under (16-10)
    - A field goal from both teams tying the game at end of regulation (13-13) seals the over since you have OT to score in (?).

I think that covers most of the common scenarios.

Safety isn't listed here; did you mean to tell us there are other ways Iowa could score?

The game has been pure Sickos bliss. Hoping for just enough time for Iowa to seal it with a FG to preserve the under

Edit: of course right after they go three and out and punt away. This game may come down to whoever can kick a field goal in OT with the wind at their back

Yeah, forgot about a safety, which combined with a field goal should keep it under.

But it looks like its going to stay at 10-10 going into OT, so a 13-10 OT final can still win the under.

If they go to a 3rd OT then they have to try for 2 on a touchdown, keeping the under hope alive (if the game gets to that point and a touchdown is scored).

Nah, rest assured, whatever the lowest point total was set at by a sportsbook, they were always going to find a way to the under. 23.5 was mere child’s play.

The Aflac trivia question for the Iowa/Nebraska game was incredible. Most wins in the last 20 years from a team averaging 250 yards per game or less before this Iowa team.
    2008 UCF with 4.

The idea that your vote is a moral statement about you or who you vote for is some backwards ass libertarian nonsense. Your vote is about society. Vote to protect the vulnerable.
