@ASimPerson@Nirya Ole Miss v LSU has "Other" with a free text entry in addition to the radio buttons to pick either team, just FYI. Also I'm picking both road teams in the 3 time zone skip Bee One Gee games so I'll either look like a genius or an idiot (and my bucks will go down making me feel even worse haha).
I picked Other and put in Mississippi because Ole Miss is some racist shit.

If Oklahoma's offensive line can take a couple more steps forward this week, and can get just one of the 5 injured WR back, they can keep it close enough for the defense/lady luck to pull something out of their ass. Have to play mistake free, get a few lucky breaks, and hope Red River does what it always does.
In the 4th quarter Arizona was up by 4 and had 4th and one inside their own 30. When they went for it you could tell they had just no respect for Utah's offence and Cam Rising. Of course they were right and held them to a field goal. Cam was not at all ready to come back and it looks like he only got worse as he got more beat up into the night.
That’s pretty good, make the students love you to buy more years on your contract

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Kalen DeBoer brings fascinating late game situations always. And people usually make bad decisions. Alabama stops on the last TD and they can kneel it out. Then SCar misses a wide open guy on the game tying 2. Then they get an onside kick. Then an offensive lineman catches a pass that costs them 20 seconds. Wild last two minutes.

Watching this and the South Florida game for all but the last 5 minutes of the SF game are enough to know anybody calling this team the real deal or a contender is just looking at the win column. Nothing more, not serious people at all

I closed the browser tab so I can't double check, but I'm pretty sure it could have been even more wild because the DB had that last pick outside the end zone then actively retreated into it. If he gets tackled there that's a safety.

It would have been a judgment call if his momentum carried him in. Was smart to bring it out and run out the clock in the process.

Ohio State is wearing all white (though with grey helmet instead of white- this is their “sub zero” uni while the white helmet makes it the “cocaine white” uni)
PSU-USC game had an obvious not first down, they called it a first down, psu assumed it wasn't and had their 3rd and short lineup out, call got down to 2s, psu called a timeout.
It got reviewed, became 3rd and 1, psu didn't get charged a timeout. So effectively psu just won a challenge that they DIDN'T get a first down.

That sounds like this officiating crew.

The conferences are too big, teams should not be going from Pennsylvania to California
Eh, five years ago we would have been praising scheduling if this was a week three non-con matchup.
We're going to get like a six way tie that's unbreakable because nobody plays each other. Or like the seventh best team in the conference rides an unbalanced schedule to the title game. Which will be Iowa, again. An 18 team conference with no divisions and wildly unbalanced schedules is a joke.

It was stupid in 1990, it's been stupid every time this shit happens in the regular season, bowl games are one thing, regular seasons should not include cross country travel

Oh those are all good reasons for not expanding. I just still think the travel stuff is overblown for football. You have a much bigger argument for the non-revenue sports though, since they play a lot more games usually.

West Coast NFL teams historically underperform the spread traveling east. Big Ten teams have sucked on the West coast for my entire time following the sport. It's real that it's a penalty.
It's brutal for the Olympic sports, yeah.

Letting Pitt play Cal is like a rite to summon the God of Chaos. It's rapidly getting real stupid.

PSU is going to put Moss in a hospital here, USCs line is not good
I've definitely come to admire that kid's toughness. Michigan, LSU, and Minnesota did the same thing.

Only two of the long travel losses have been upsets.
Both of those were USC.
I hope someone immediately yelled out “phrasing!”

Michigan is still fine, they aren't that good and you're unranked. This game score should be 12-8.
