If there is a net positive, it 's that at least I'm not under the barrel with all my lousy picks this season.

We've got much to build upon.

As for actual football ramifications, I get to watch the Gators attempt to survive against an embarassed/angry LSU team from last week and an Ole Miss squad that is probably the reason why Georgia's out of the Playoff this year.

That and a road game to cap off the season at Doak.

Napier didn't have a great chance to remain at Florida but I'm looking at 3 Coffin Nails before they definitely ship him off now.

    He’s back for 2025

The theory is schools don’t want to pay so much for coaching buyouts anymore with incoming player salaries etc

Riley/Venebles/Napier/Kelly/Norvell/etc all anticipated to be back in 2025 (with Napier already confirmed)

It is very funny that my brother missed week 1 and is within striking distance of the overall lead. I'm very proud of him.

On the flip side, my girlfriend is now upset that I am not giving her tips on her picks but I believe in integrity.

SE++ PICK'EM WEEK 11: BACK TO NORMAL, WHERE NORMAL IS FLORIDA STATE BEING TERRIBLE

    Straight Up
#25 Tulane (-7) @ Navy - Now, this game probably had more juice behind it before Navy went and inexplicably lost to a bad Rice team, but this is still one of the bigger matchups in the AAC this year. Tulane can clinch a spot in the AAC Championship game with a win here, while Navy can keep the door open for themselves. In many ways, this also feels like Tulane's "prove it" game to show they can truly belong as the top runner for the G5 playoff bid, because otherwise we're looking at Boise State walking away with things even with a loss.

SICKOS GAME OF THE WEEK: #22 Louisiana State (-4.5) @ Florida - You all know for a fact that Ron Desantis watched what LSU's governor was doing with a live tiger and the ensuing disaster that took place, and that his takeaway was that they just didn't fight woke hard enough. Expect three live gators on the sideline for this game, two of which were brought there on purpose.

James Madison (-3) @ Old Dominion - The Sun Belt East is a fascinating division at the moment. Georgia Southern and Marshall are currently in the lead, while the teams that probably should be higher are stuck here fighting for their lives. These teams are both trying to keep their slim hopes alive at winning the division, with JMU needing a ton of help to get there while ODU would just need Georgia Southern to trip up once.

Arizona State @ #16 Kansas State (-9) - This game is on the schedule mostly to acknowledge the job Kenny Dillingham has done in year two at Arizona State, taking a program left in the ditch by Herm "The Devil is Evil" Edwards and getting them back to respectability pretty quickly. This team was picked to finish near the bottom of the new Big 12, and instead they're 7-2 and still technically alive for the Big 12 championship game. That's pretty good! (This is also a must-win game for Kansas State)

Kansas @ #6 Brigham Young (-3) - We have quickly reached "this fuckery needs to end" status with BYU, who has not been a good team but keeps winning games anyway. Last week's theft of Utah only served to highlight this, so now we're stuck hoping a disappointing Kansas team has truly woken up and is ready to beat the breaks off a few teams down the stretch, starting with BYU.

    Against the Spread
Utah @ #17 Colorado (-9.5) - THE RUMBLE IN THE ROCKIES! Nobody is more excited about Colorado's successful season than Fox, who have been able to give premium placement to the Buffaloes and Coach Prime and reap the rewards. But that hype is hiding a key thing: Colorado has really been pretty good. The defense especially has been much better than anticipated, and the offense has figured out enough counters for when teams key in on Travis Hunter to become very efficient. Shedeur still takes too many sacks because he refuses to throw the ball away, but they've mostly been able to move past that. Utah....I don't know, if your whole season was that reliant on a seventh-year injury-riddled quarterback and whether he could get through the season healthy or not, then the foundation probably was not that secure to begin with. Honestly, we might be at Whittingham Retirement Watch status soon.

#23 Missouri @ #21 South Carolina (-11.5) - Eli Drinkowitz stated that he felt the Missouri Tigers were right in the thick of the playoff hunt, which means Eli Drinkowitz has never seen the Missouri Tigers play football. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I think we need South Carolina to end this fuckery so we can move on.

#7 Tennessee @ #12 Georgia (-9.5) - The best game of the day, and an elimination game for both teams regarding the playoff, but I just can't get up for it. Tennessee has not been inspiring confidence of late, and Georgia's best hope for offensive improvement is that Carson Beck starts acting like a human and not like someone who is picking up a football for the first time in his life. The fun part is this will be a complete defensive struggle that we're all going to be told is good football, because your lying eyes cannot be trusted.

Alabama-Birmingham @ Memphis (-13.5) - THE BATTLE FOR THE BONES! A game that is only here because its rivalry trophy is one of the best in the sport.

GAME OF THE CENTURY OF THE WEEK (AGAINST THE SPREAD)
#13 Boise State (-13.5) @ San Jose State - We're going to use the GotCotW slot to highlight Boise State, a team that has been legitimately good this year and could absolutely give someone a run for their money in the playoffs. Ashton Jeanty has gone from fun player to probable Heisman frontrunner, and hilariously he could break 2000 yards on the season as soon as this game (it would require over 260 yards, but totally doable!). The thing I find fascinating about this team (besides the fact that they're doing excellent despite not really having much of a passing game) is that they are still in line for a first-round bye provided BYU slips up at some point. I think if anyone other than an undefeated BYU comes out of the Big 12 as champion, there will be a lot of calls for Boise State to take that spot.

    Probably at least 1 5* and likely 4 4*

Like Georgia’s 4th QB is a starter for 2/3 of FBS

OSU has 3 5* QBs on its roster fwiw ( @enlightenedbum ) and none is even the starter

Broadcast hasn't caught it yet, we will see if they do after commercial, but UCLA just subbed down to 10 defenders while trying to stop UW from scoring on the 1, after UW sent in 7 OLinemen.

UW somehow managed to overcome themselves and score on the short handed D.

I hate Colorado, old rivalry and all, but it's real hard to argue against how legit talented Travis Hunter is. Would love to see another 2way guy get the Heisman.

    Was Charles Woodson the last?

Woodson seems to be the only one.

The list since he got his in '97 is chockful of QBs, RBs and one WR (DeVonta Smith)... all one-way Offense Guys.
