God I love the new saving system, it makes the old game look outright barbaric. Making a sphere, resizing it and saving everything inside? Brilliant!
You can also make it a cube instead of a sphere. Works nicely for a lot of things.
Also, I've optimized that huge Sky scraper I was building. I've pretty much cut the Brickcount down from like 4000 bricks to about 1680, without changing the skyscraper's look. The secret is to use the brick scaling feature. For some of the walls the run along the side of the building, I took a regular brick and made it 153 times taller, rather than stacking up 6 bricks for EACH FLOOR. Wee
Where do you all go to play. I want to get my Wang-Mobiles on.
Also, i have all of the "tbmstandard" and "dtb" things, but they are MS-DOS batch files. When i double click a box appears for a split second, then dissapears.

What do i do?
Weird. When I open them, it first opens an empty dos prompt and then starts the game.
It opens the DOS prompt, then it doesnt start. Do i need to run it in any compatability modes?
I'm willing to bet you extracted some things into the wrong directory, so the batch file can't find the exe it's looking for. The TBM folder should be inside your Blockland0002 folder.
I cannot figure out how to get this thing installed. . . the TBM2 files and such do not exist anywhere after they are extracted. . . someone help please
EDIT: now winrar is just not letting me extract anything. . . access is denied
EDIT: holy shit, i found my TBM file. it got lost and somehow made onto my desktop. . . i didn't tell it to do that?
I feel like I just found the Holy Grail, but it's no more significant than a regular clay cup. . .
EDIT: YAY FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!
now just figure out where the PA server is
I really think the OP should include either a screenshot of the blockland002 folder, so people can make sure theirs looks the same, or a download to a .rar of the folder or something. Hell, at least 2 of my friends installed it wrong when I was trying to get them all to install and play.
The way I did it was to install everything to the blockland002 folder (as in, point the installer to inside it) and extract everything into the it. I think some people might be installing it to a folder above it or something. And I did it in the order of the OP.
Ok what you do is you download everything in the op, first install/extract the regular blockland file whereever you want to then extract all the rest of the file into the blockland0002 folder the first file created. then open the dtb.bat file and your good to go
Where did my regular lego bricks go? Like the 1x1, 1x2, 2x4, etc? All I can find are the large walls.
What?
With TBM2, the blocks under 1 that used to be the "normal" legos are large walls.
In order to make blocks less tall press ctrl+/ (use the / on the numpad). This will probably end up making the blocks completely flat since it goes down 5 steps each time, so use * (again, on the numpad) to give the blocks regular block height.

EDIT: Trying to join the server, that is.
edit: Apparently not. Onwards with the fort-building!

Yes plz. If it's a nice powerful connection on a good machine.
P.S. there is a dedicated server application for TBM but I haven't seen one for DTB.

Edit: Oh, I see.
Pass is wang.
Also, do all 3 of the DOS prompts need to be outside of it?
Scratch all that, i got it to work!
I would also like to know. I was trying to add a second floor to my building and couldn't find anything.
What?
when i try to unzip dtb or tbm, it goes at 10 - 25 bytes a second. this happen to anyone yet?
God no, update whatever your using to unzip.
EDIT: how you create a DTB server?
