Agree, low line drive from 57/58 and it kept it close enough to short circuit Kyle Shanahan's brain to abandon the run, thinking he had to air it out to keep it out of reach.

It's just rather frustrating. The Chiefs have a chance to be better next year. They somehow mind trick there opponents into idiotic play calling. Shanahan not calling any runs in those 3 and outs when CMC was averaging crazy yardage. Somehow Baltimore decides to pass over and over, despite having a great run game.
The Raiders home locker room was stripped of their home colors and their most hated rival slathered their colors all over it.
The first super bowl held in their new stadium was won by said rival.
Whatever happens in the NFL from here forward, the Raiders were just pants harder than anyone has ever been pants. They have to move cities to remove the stain.
So you know nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah

1) I fucking hate that the official account is leaning into this shit.
2) at the same time I can't hate it because SO MANY PEOPLE are going to eat the bait.
I feel like we've gotten to a point where any game where the defense plays well is a bad game
This was a good game. Like, that last drive is gonna be one of those drives replayed forever.
the last quarter and ot was certainly better. but neither team really did anything for 45 minutes except get in their own way. certainly some good defense but a lot of just very bad offense from one team being mind control beamed to not run the ball with like 7 ypc and the other team having their qb run for his life every pass, and a bunch of bad turnovers.
ended up not even close to as bad as pats rams which it was on track to beat at halftime, but i do think it’s one of the less fun super bowls in recent years.

On GameDay finale they were talking to Mecole Hardman and he more or less blackedout/short circuited after crossing the goalline, not realizing they actually won with that score and Patrick had to get in his ear and be like "YOU JUST WON THE SUPER BOWL MAN. CELEBRATE!"

KC is the villains for all sorts of reasons. Outside of the racist stuff, no other fan base likes seeing this level of consistency when it's insanely rare in the NFL. This Chiefs offense was not good. Hardman wasn't even really playing for the Jets.
Reid is likable, Mahomes seems like a good dude. It's nothing against them, but when some teams can't even make the super bowl for decades, it's infuriating to see a team make it over and over again. This is just the Pat's 2.0.
They are also a frustrating watch as the other team seems to brain fart when playing them.

I can't in good conscience call a game with that many punts by both sides a good game.

I do sincerely hope this game changes the conversation around Kyle Shanahan though because listening to all the talking heads raise him up as the greatest offensive coach ever even though he always, always clenches up and folds in critical moments has been maddening.

The team to hate until Reid and/or Mahomes retires.
But imagine
If during his interview
Travis Kelce
Proposes
To
Taylor Swift!
But maybe some day

I don't know football, but how old is Reid?
The Chiefs knowing they had 4 downs everytime made the drive easier for them.
We knew this before the game started haha. Baltimore/Lions was the game everyone wanted.
He's the mvp
I get wanting a kicker to win it but come on
According to the rules, the next OT would go back to sudden death and they don't re-flip the coin.

I would've loved that game, for sure.

The first half was boring but the second half was awesome and it went to overtime?
And the first half was less boring and more of a clown show.

This season seems like the tipping point from plucky small market team to full on 'fuck those guys'
And I get it
It's way better winning it all than being the team that people hopelessly root for when their team loses though
