Wait, is Gabe trying to ration his fix to a per day dosage?

This is the First World. We don't do that here! You thoughtlessly guzzle it down in one go, then cry that the system has failed you.

I was expecting Niagra Falls, but this will do

I'm on my third playthrough. There is so much content here, it feels like a complete game. The timer pauses when you're in menus (which is where half the game lives) or cutscenes, so it's not like a clock runs up to 5h and the game stops. You get 5 hours of gameplay, AND it if you're mid-battle it will let you complete it and see any cutscenes that follow before stopping you.

It's probably the most generous demo I've ever seen.

I ran out of my hours and it made me real sad. Thought about doing a second run through but I really don't want to risk burning out before launch.

What is this I don't even.

Yeah, I spent a good chunk of Saturday and Sunday afternoon on the demo and I still have "90" minutes left on the demo.
I'm really liking it other than the amount of reverb they put on some of the voices in places where it's definitely not needed.

Got around to downloading it and trying it myself, and my initial impression was correct. It's in many respects a love letter to Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen and hot damn it is a good one too. It's going to be one of those games with art direction that should age very well, and good enough crunch/mechanics that multiple playthroughs should be valid. And the Switch handles it effortlessly. Here's hoping it does well enough that they follow it up with expansions and/or sequels.

Closest thing I have to a complaint is it isn't on PC where ease of modding could give it even more longevity.
