LOOK A SHINY NEW THREAD.

Anyway, anything Melee goes here. Feel free to
  • Ask questions about a game you know nothing about
  • Attack other players for not being good with items
  • Learn exciting new terms! Such as "wavedash" "L-cancel" and "you're a faggot for disagreeing with me"

If you get bored with all that, talk about your favorite charecters, your least favorite charecters, awesome videos, shitty videos, or cool stories about SSBM.

    I believe her and Marth are commonly considered the easiest characters to get "decent" with. That only goes so far, and can be pretty easily overcome by a slight increase in how good the players are overall. There are a few characters that just get violated by her in general, though.

    I started playing with Fox when I switched from SSB to Brawl just so I can keep up with Shiek (my brothers character of choice) . I would love playing with Link again, but in order to stand a chance against her incredible fast attack speed, I have to stick to McCloud.

    It's been a while since I played Smash on a regular basis, but I generally like using Peach, though when certain people I played against started destroying me as her I'd pull out Pikachu or Roy, both of whom I'm pretty good with.

    I like Young Link, Mewtwo and Falco. I prefer Roy to Marth but I always suck with both of them. Pokefloats and Big Blue are awesome. Yoshi is one of my favourite characters but I can't do anything with him in this game.

    I decided to learn wave dashing and its pretty easy but, like snaking in mario kart, it hurts my fingers so I don't do it. I'm still attempting to beat all star on hard with one life to unlock that damn trophy :(

    i didnt know for the longest time how to trigger the alternate music on some levels. All you do is hold R and select the level. Icicle mountain sucks, but balloon fight music is cool.

    I really like the randomness of it. It's so easy to knock someone off in that level, it's a fresh change of pace from the rest of the game.

    It's just that I hate how tiny the borders are. It's like the second you go off-screen you die.

    See, I like both of those aspects. You have to think about how you're playing in that stage differently than you do in the others. The music is great because of how original it is.

    I play jiggs.

    I can't wavedash or short hop (l cancel I can do, but not really with jiggs).

    I use the joystick to jump.

    I can go toe to toe with some of the most technical players in my state.
