    Can't believe I missed Tsukimichi, Moonlit Fantasy, when it was airing it's new season at the start of the year. Feels like Crunchy roll is dropping the ball on announcing what they have going. Granted, I want to say we've had some pretty solid series running this year and it does seem like they at least promote their big titles, which is more than I can say for Disney.

    Anyways, this seem like the better thread out of like the few threads about stuff coming out of Japan. Anyone know a good place for practicing reading Japanese? Kind of hit the point, where I need something to supplement my leaning from Duolingo and I'm noticing one big obstacle I run into is that they'll through out stuff written in full Japanese (using all the three Japanese alphabets) and it's just hard to read because I gather spacing just isn't a ting (also possible this is a major fuckup on Duolingo's part). I know I'm at a point where being able to read Japanese more comfortably would really help me. Also figure I need to find a good free resource where I can just watch some stuff in Japanese without subtitles, ideally something where I'm already familiar with the story. I know I could pull up some vtuber streams, but the limitation there is sometimes they are chatting about something that isn't really related to the game their playing or it's just a chat stream and there isn't much visual context to go off of.

    I'm behind on a bunch of my series because work has been crazy for the last two months, but I finally caught up on Greatest Estate Developer webtoon, and this series is just incredible. It's usually so silly, but when it does heartfelt moments, they really land for me. Maybe because the characters are so likable?

    Oh yeah, during that arc:
    When she's stressing over her job and her hand being poisoned by the curse, and hears that Lloyd's returned, she briefly fantasizes about hugging him, because she yearns for someone to lean on, and he's the most competent person she knows. Then it cuts to reality where she's standing before them prostrating themselves, but it's almost as if Javier saw her fantasy for a brief moment.

    Also later, during the Ice Heart meltdown, when the Queen and Javier are looking for Lloyd, and he comes into frame fireman-carrying the two dudes he accidentally extorted money from. Just so impactful of a shot.

    Nah, not a set panel layout short type, more like 19 page continuous story chapters. It's mostly "and then the deer does some nonsense, don't worry about it", though.

    I started watching Dr. Stone this week and I can't get over
    the big eyes on most of the women characters. Maybe they're trying to show off mixed bloodlines but their eyes are not positioned on their faces how they should be and I'm getting weirded out.

    Yes and no. Series isn't done, but anyone waiting probably wants to catch up.

    I'm hoping MHA doesn't get dragged out too much. I can certainly see the argument that this has a decent bit of material that could be fit into the epilogue. So can easily justify not having it be like 1-2 chapters; especially, if the author wants to do any sort of time skip before closing out. There are certainly a fair number of characters that have garnered enough interest, that people likely do want to know what happens to them.

    What makes that scene hilarious for me is that he has three daughters, so Senshi is giving The Talk to the party member that least needs it.
