If you think about it, there isn't really a skeleton inside each of us. We are inside the skeleton, and we control it. So if you dig a little deeper, aren't we just skeletons wearing a leather coat?

    Are they wet, thought?

    Genuine question

They certainly are full of fluid, but to be wet, I feel like there has to be fluid on the outside, I’m not sure if there is?

I feel like dry bones behavior isn’t outside the norm enough to be too freaky.

Like, if you worked with a skeleton who was by all other metrics a regular person punching the clock, I can’t imagine you would be too freaked out by them.

I think the inside of your body is all wet so I think it would be hard for a bone to be in a dry area

I’ve done a lot of butchery, and the inside of a carcass actually it’s pretty much dry. It gets wet when you start disrupting blood vessels and such, sure, and there’s a slimy-ness to entrails I suppose but we’re talking bones and not guts

If you go through the abdominal cavity, pull apart the back muscles without tearing them or cutting them open

    That spine is pretty dry!!

Now leg bones? Much harder to say, I don’t think I have ever come in contact with a leg bone that didn’t require some degree of ripping, tearing, or cutting
