    No

you're either missing my point or strawmanning it

I find the concept of glorifying organized crime reprehensible. there is nothing more to this

but let's go into this a bit more

I find Rorschach an interesting character. He has an established moral compass, yet he still breaks the law. He understands what he does is illegal but he feels morally justified in doing so because he views it as a sacrifice for justice. Yet, in the end, he is capable
of recognizing that the world that is being created has no place for him.

How about Jean val Jean. He did what he did out of necessity and a sense of strong moral obligation, even if he wasn't sure, even though he was a criminal.

Go watch Layer Cake. It's a great organized crime movie and shows what generally happens to those associated with it.

So you dislike immoral main characters, but criminals can be morally A-OK.

I've never seen a movie or read a book in which the main character was totally unsympathetic, but I can't imagine that I'd like it very much. I don't think I could sympathize with a totally immoral character, either, so if I thought mobsters were completely morally corrupt then I'd probably feel like you do.

My take is that the tension they created in the last scene is pretty much what he'll have to live with for the rest of his life. That said, it would've been nice to see Tony in a sick gunfight and come out alive. Everything outside of Billy Batts getting fucked up royally was kinda meh for me, save Paulie and the cat. That was hilarious.

    I'll say it now:

anyone who thinks gangster flicks glorify violence are the same type of people who watch Behind The Music of, like Milli Vanilli and right after they win best new artist grammy go "So, I guess things worked out for them in the end, huh?"

The Heroes finale was like having amazing sex and shooting a blank at the very end.

Which is a good thing because you don't have to deal with abortions afterwards.

Fuck everyone who hated on the Heroes finale. I bet they're the kind of people who like Prison Break.

    Seriously.

Bullshit. You could say that about pretty much every season finale. Huge leadup to some big cliffhanger that keeps you guessing until the show comes back next season with a little bit of conflict resolution mixed in so it actually feels like something was accomplished. That is exactly what happened with Heroes and their finale.
