Both have been president, one is a convicted criminal. You can probably safely assume that nobody on this board really wanted either to be president again, but this is the hand we're dealt, so let's keep it on topic specifically to the debate and not just a generic "Biden/Trump/Liberals/Leftists suck" thread. There'll be time enough for that later.
A bunch of incoherent nonsense from very old people kicks off in... 5 minutes.
Remember, this is not Twitter. Don't just react or say "I can't believe he said that." Provide context, AND snark, preferably directed at them, not other forumers.

Biden seems to be waking up during Trump's answer about why top earners and corporations should pay less, which has turned into a stump speech by Trump.
Biden had a big ass smile on his face.

What Trump is saying is a lie and horrendous, but from optics that was not good for Biden.

I'm not saying this to be glib, but it basically boils down to Trump excessively lying coherently, and Biden trying to explain things and stumbling. Stuff like Trump going "They think we're stupid. The whole world doesn't respect us. He's destroyed us" and Biden trying to explain the math of taxing 1000 billionaires at 25% and how much money that would generate, flipping billion/trillion/million a few times before catching and correcting himself.
Biden's answer on limits of abortion was much much better. He argued that he supported Roe V Wade and then broke that down fairly well.
Biden's response to Trump's absurd "they are killing babies after birth!" has gotten him really fired up. Just snapping back and responding fiercely.
But man that open mouth listening stare is doing Biden no favors. His image people have to train him to keep his mouth closed when listening.
But then that's been the status quo for almost a decade now so I guess I should be used to it by now.
