I believe a good compromise between the cargo short and the two pocket short is the GERRY stretch cargo short for hiking

No compromises in fashion. Worse than both other options.

It doesn't look like anyone has mentioned the little tiny Ps2 slim yet, what a great piece of design that was, holy shit I loved that thing.

Also those shorts with just one leg pocket are silly, pick a bit and commit, nothing worse than being lopsided.

    hold up

like just in that they ignored square drive

or do you also have complaints about torx which Robinson would resolve?

life's a game that you're bound to lose / like using a hammer to pound in screws
fuck up once and you break your thumb / if you're happy at all then you're god damn dumb
that's right we're on a fucked up cruise / God is dead but at least we have booze
bad things happen, no one knows why / the sun burns out and everyone dies

The Square drive basically got ignored by the US because the original designer didn't want to sell his design to Henry Ford, so Ford went with the Philips instead

Torx are used these days to either make home electronics repair frustrating or to try to reduce vandalism by making it really annoying to achieve

The Robertson is comparably self-centering, very hard to strip, and less likely to end with me impaling my hand versus say a flathead (which has done me in before, I still just barely have the scar)

flatheads are good for opening paint cans, and philips drivers can be used as a crude punch

in every other respect, Robertson is superior

I'll take external drive mechanisms over internal for literally any job that doesn't involve countersinking. And even some of those can be external drive, depending.

    I was very mad!

Extremely rarely I’ll wear a kilt to a wedding and I gotta say, good design, men’s clothing should have dangling room. I think we’ve got clothes backwards, at least in culturally West regions. Plus you got this little bag at the front for your mints. I think they’re just for mints.

  • Options
    JuggernutJuggernut Registered User regular
Man, I need to get a kilt. If there's any culture I can realistically appropriate it's the Scots.

I've got just enough of the ole DNA to be generally red, angry, and have a fascination for two handed swords.

Definitely better than a standard Phillips but still subject to a lot of the same issues, it's just less likely to slip and can get better torque than the classic

Impact driver! If I can't use the impact on it, its the sort of thing that should be turned by hand with a brace, ratchet or screwdriver.

This is why we need background checks for power tools.
