Messaging me before the seering is like putting a Winchester to your head with one of the chambers loaded, spinning and shooting.

Ha ha oh shit I just realized that Winchester doesn't make pistols, does it?

Just Winchester ammunition and rifles. Oh well. Russian roullette anyway.

Of course if you were evil it would be quite like playing Russian Roulette with an automatic...

Well it's going to be suspicious for me to bring this up, but I think there a too many ways for the baddies to mess with this. For example, one of the baddies could message anax tomorrow and say "Yo, I'm the seer, I totally seered you". What can anax do about this? He can't go public with the names of the people who messaged him because then the baddies can just kill the real seer.

Now the cat is out the bag we should roll with it, but a better network mouthpiece would have been one of the family members.

Colt is the make you are looking for

I suppose. Dunno why I was thinking Winchester. I kind of associate that brand with the old west kind of crap. Smithon & Wesson (sp?) is too Clint Eastwood for me.

No sir. When the seer messages me they will message me with my role name. That's how tricky I am. I am banking on the bad guys not having a seer. Maybe that's a bad move on my part.

EDIT: Whoops, double post. Sorry. That's obnoxious.

    You're assuming that:
    A) There is a seer(its likely, I admit)
    B) They will follow this plan
    C) They are told anything more than "SoandSo is a good/evil person"

Well okay that makes more sense. If the baddies do have a seer then we'd be screwed which ever way you look at it.

To be fair, if you're a badguy then we can't really trust you after the seering either. (I think it's more likely that the guardian can only protect others, therefore he wouldn't be able to dispute your claim). And does your guardianship protect from conversions? Think Phallanoia here.

I don't trust first day reveals, ever.

One way to test that he is a guardian of some kind is for the vigilante to target him tonight.

Hopefully its not like Castle Phalla where the guardian could only stop a certain number of kills on a person per night.

    I am the guardian.
I am guarding myself. I would like for the seer to seer me and tell me what he sees.

I hope you know what the hell your doing, because I doubt the narrators would have something as unbalanced as a self-guarding guardian with no weakness.

Good point I suppose but the last two phallas I've participated in have had that function, so it didn't seem strange to me.

In zodiac phalla's case the villagers were split between two factions, so a guardian could easily be killed by a village vote (like B:L was).

In the comic book phalla there were 3 main good guys (bad guys don't matter because of there vulnerbility to the village vote) with guardian ability der hund one time self guarding ability, bolt a guardian with a limited amount of uses of his guardian ability and gale force who couldn't guard himself.

All this too say that in the last two games there were weaknesses to the self-guarding ability.

That's a bad idea. I am pretty sure I am not immune to the vigilante. I can avoid the ghosts or whatever, though.

    It's ambiguous.

tFrandel: Not 100% sure on what I can guard against, except I know i can at least live through the baddies tonight.

The amount of coincidence that went into your survival was astronomical. The failing of people to line up the votes correctly to test your supposed power, the inactivity of the asshat whose name escapes me now, the fact that you managed to choose to impersonate the one special who was inactive.

I wanted to give you information because I trusted you the most out of all the specials who came forth, but I never did. Everyone thought I did though, and the kept pointing to you as the leak. The layers irony in that whole fiasco were quite numerous.

There was only one special I could choose to impersonate (Well two, but you claimed the other role that didn't come with a partner). Though that massive amount of stuff that let me live was awesome. I wish I could take more credit for the whole thing but I can't. I made one right choice (Go for the impersonation route) and just hung tough.

Also my bestest friend I believe was Spawnbroker.

Yeah. I understand. If I am a badguy, the seer will be able to trust me. From there, we will be able to start a network. Hopefully a, singular, family member would PM me, and then we could check their veracity. Or we could start hunting down badguys with me as the mouthpiece. Depends on how the evening goes really, but I'm trying to do good for us here.
