like, this isn't even a self-deprecating joke, I am very angry at God for letting me be born.

should have really gone back to the drawing board w/ my model

edit: holy shit, that is why I'm angry at God. I had never like, vocalized it before, but that's my thing, that's why!

i was struggling with this a lot but like very recently i have come around on it.

it's okay to be mad at the people who have failed you, even if it's you.
it's okay to forgive yourself, or not.
it's okay to be something many other people aren't into.
there doesn't have to be a reason other than the thing itself.

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

Any church that has a ‘youth pastor’ gives me the heebie jeebies. At the very best, they turn out to be cringy young men doing “Do you know who else is ‘Among Us,’ at all times? The Holy Spirit!”

At the worst, they get engaged to a member of their congregation…. The moment she turns 18.

Mind you, I was raised Anglican, where the priest, who was usually old, was a kindly guy to both the elderly and the childeren. He might have a younger assistant, but they would be in their fourties, and didn’t focus on any particular demographic.

No not the pre made dip, the seasoning packets to make dip.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

under the bed - D tier; it’s basically the first place people look
in a cabinet - A tier; this is good. if you’re small enough there are a lot of options
behind a tree - B tier; deceptively good spot imo. depending on the angle the seeker might not even see you
up a tree - S tier; hard to beat imo. even if they see you they have to get you, either they climb up or they wait

please add your own, provide an explanation

    Under the stairs: C
It works sometimes, but is usually findable.

    Under the stairs, in/behind a box: A
    Now we’re talking.

C Tier- Submerged in a pile of dirty laundry. Pros: Can hide in plain sight and emerge like a triumphant sea creature at the game's conclusion. Cons: Have to hold breath and not move for extended periods to pull it off, plus why are you still living like this

D Tier- Embedded tumor/parasitic twin situation. Pros: Unlikely to be found without the aid of a medical professional/equipment Cons: Possibly not worth the effort to win at a game of Hide and Seek

F Tier- Disguised as a lamp/table/statue Pros: Low effort, can get into position quickly, they probably won't be expecting it Cons: Typically only works for the long game if you're hiding from an Elmer Fudd/Yosemite Sam type
