behind the couch is C tier, it really depends on configuration. If you can wedge into a small hidden gap, it's goated. Other times, you're left out in the open

    Inside a dryer.

Which is how I won my freshman dorm's hide and seek event.

Well, "won." I was inside a fuckin dryer for nearly an hour.

Playing with small kids tier: Somewhere comfortable with a phone or book. Under sheets of your bed. Advanced mode: under sheets on their bed.

Mind games tier: Shove pillows under sheets to make it look like a person is hiding there. But all the pillows are missing from the bed, obviously it is a fake out. Hide under the sheets with the pillows. Double fake out.

But grey ghost where the hell is the grain. I don't remember seeing a field of it in the movie.

Are they bringing the grain from really far away to have Conan mill it?

Why take it so far that you'd have to use a horse and wagon to do it efficiently and not just like, put the mill closer to the field and use the horse to run the mill? Then use the slaves like Conan to harvest the grain?

You know if I'm picking nits... All I'm saying is those folks could do it more sensibly

Then Conan and the others might not burn as much calories and wouldn't cost as much in upkeep either! It's all upside!

This 42 year old fantasy film based on like 100 year old short stories makes no sense is what I'm sayin

Maybe the wheel they are pushing is magical or something

Maybe it's like some kind of ritual meant to like keep the seasons on track

    Well we'll never know

Plot wise obviously it's only there to explain Conan turning from a little kid into Arnold. But I crave lore.

I generally go for someplace high if possible.

A lot of people are bad at looking up, so if you can get outside of the direct sightline you're in good shape.

In college the drama program had a couple of all night lock ins a year. Hang out in the theatre, play improv games, watch a movie (probably theatre connected), et cetera. We'd do one at the start of the year as a like, way to meet new people who had joined the program, and one towards the end of the year to wrap things up.

Anyways, the thing was, we were not actually locked in, and our theatre was attached to one of the academic buildings, which by around 11 or 12 would be completely empty (and that would be locked, but we were already inside). Which meant we played very large games of hide and seek in whatever classrooms/offices/whatever had been left unlocked within the building - a lot of it ends up being largely identical classrooms, but in some ways to makes it more difficult to be vigilant about checking every shadowed corner, and it was an old building with some fun idiosyncrasies.

I had a few signature spots that were that exact sort of high up thing - there were a few rooms that I could pretty effectively get above the doorframe of, at which point if someone just pokes their head into the (mostly empty) room to scan around, you'll get missed entirely. If they come all the way in its a bit harder, but even then they might not look up at a shadowy corner necessarily.

Most recently I played hide and seek with my eight year old niece in a park. I just laid down on a bench on my phone the whole time and nobody ever found me, but it was very sunny and I did get a little bit toasted in the process.

    this is actually correct

it's called The Wheel of Pain

it's super heavy and you just push it forever pretty much, that's how conan got so huge
