Not to be an asshole, but make sure if your bringing your kid that they are very well behaved.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Yeah, to be honest, I know a lot of forumers that are far less behaved than my kids are...

You know who you all are.... for shame. hehe

What I thought was a simple question has turned into a lot of reading ... anyways, if all goes well, I'll be down there with my wife and 3yr old daugther ... taking the amtrak from vancouver, bc down. Thanks all and keep your hands to yourselves :)

And your going to ruin the fun of the high five that will be going around PAX?

IMO bringing a 3 year old to this event would be highly inappropriate on many levels. It's a physically dangerous environment which offers little in the way of interesting content (for a 3-year-old) and much in the way of language you probably don't want your kid repeating.

I am five feet tall, even.
I get stepped on at PAX, and generally (un)intentionally abused.
Bringing anyone with a height below eye-level to an event of this size, and letting them run around, is not the best idea.

They cast a shadow like a sundial in the morning light. It was half past 10.

    LOL.

One thing about toddlers: they're not quiet if you hurt/scare them.

you and sadie can huddle in the corner together and try to not get stepped on.

As a parent, I would recommend not bringing a 3 year old. Safety, bad language, etc. Sure, yeah. But most importantly, you won't be able to have a good time if you're managing a 3 year old all day.

I learned my lesson from last year and brought a camera... Sunday was a blast:

That brings back memories of when I had my He-Man light-up sword back in the mid-80's good times.

So cute! I'm glad you guys had such a blast :) I may be bringing my oldest daughter next year if it doesn't interfere with school at all. I think she would have an awesome time.
