Some posts have words cutoff

I thought maybe I was just not hip to the new posting ways, but every so often I will see a post where a word (or maybe more?) gets cut off and replaced with ellipses. I noticed in the D&D election thread today a back to back post, where someone posted and the next post they got quoted. In the original post “trump” gets cutoff with an ellipses, but in the quote it looks normal (see below screenshot, hopefully).
Not a huge issue, but I thought it was weird. I’ve seen it more than once but I couldn’t give any real numbers on it. On IOS/safari if that matters. Also on Wi-Fi, with Verizon wireless and have 38% battery, which you can helpfully see from the screenshot.
