Bad waffles are much worse than bad pancakes and it's much easier to make a decent pancake

Waffles are the cybertrucks of the pancake world.
Far superior to both, naturally. I just had chicken/brie/mushroom filled crepes for dinner the other night. And I'll easily prefer a sweet crepe even to a sweet waffle or pancake.
nothin' but the FT itself, with some powdered sugar, maybe a teense of syrup
coffee and orange juice
9 times out of 10 I'm going savoury over sweet for Breakfast, though: have to be in a certain rare mood to crave sugar over salt in the mornings

Those pancakes, along with the same book's one-pot overnight cheesecake and double-fried french fries convinced a lot of people that I could cook long before I could actually cook.

In memory of the Fried Egg thread, I made 'em fight.
Hilariously, while they jacked up the prices on the horrible awful no-good ghost eggs, the good eggs were the same price they'd always been. So both cartons were on sale next to each other for $9.99 a dozen.
I guess keep a sharp eye out for bargains, this might be a good opportunity to step up your egg game.
Organic eggs typically are way more orange, in my experience
