Mechanically easier? Possibly. Though that would facilitate the speed of access to the trauma that is the true goal of the game assignment.

Got get that family values instilled and play through a game of Lisa... only puked once or twice, and it was a "noble" playthrough

Brothers gets progressively darker as it goes.

You start with a fun co-op adventure, getting the better of bullies by siccing dogs on them, and saving a friendly trolls wife who's been captured by unfriendly trolls.
Then you find the house where a man's entire family has died in a fire and he's trying to hang himself, and it gets grimmer from there.
