Yeah, this is correct.
Aus wants all Australian posters age verified according to this new legislation, so a quick "Are you 16+? Nah, Yeah. Yeah, Nah." checkbox is likely necessary if this passes.

As far as I can see, there's only been minor changes to the bill throughout the process, aside an increase in the penalties for keeping age verification information after verifying.
The sticky indicates that this was in progress at the start of December. Conscious of course of the time of year so it might be an "after the new year" thing at this point, but just wondered where we were at.
Still in progress, and hopefully we’ll have an update on that in the next few days — there’s been a few hiccups that delayed it longer than we anticipated, unfortunately.
How come? And in what country is this?
