Hello, my name is Anzekay and I am here to present your newest moderator: Daeg, the cat.
The admins have seen the need for a moderator in SE++ who is not only from a non-Americas timezone, but who also is a good judge of character with a good nose for sniffing out cryptobigots. Daeg, being a cat, is an exemplary example of both those traits.
Unfortunately, Daeg lacks opposable digits with which to effectively use mouse and keyboard, and he's banned from using my phone after the Great Texting Scandal of 2018, so I have been deputised as his amanuensis. Below is a statement from Daeg:

To translate, Daeg states: "Hello, forumers of SE++, I am Daeg and I will be your Net-Cat for these final months and weeks of the PA forums. I hope we can all make it through these times of global trouble and strife together, safely, with camaraderie and love. I will of course be helping out the Transition Team in whatever way I can to ensure the next forums are set up to be the best they can be, and that we can all learn from both the triumphs and mistakes of the past. As a wise man once said, 'History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce'; let us make a new forums home that is neither."
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them! I am intending to put a lot of focus on preserving and building community cohesion in these next few months, as well as encouraging users to make more use of the 'report' button as opposed to engaging in heated discourse with trolls, bad actors and, of course, fellow forumers, during a time where we're all just pretty stressed and highly strung. As some of you likely may already be thinking, I'm far from the most prolific poster on the forums, so I'll be largely working as a mod via going over SE++ and Transition Forums reports, keeping an eye on threads that are frequently hotspots for pain points, and just generally being an open ear for any forumer who has feedback or wants to discuss issues here. My DMs are always open.

He's an old boy now, so he tends to like sleeping around the same sort of times I do. Typically curled up next to me or on his wicker 'throne' next to my bed.
They're crepuscular, which is my favorite word-wot-wounds-worse-than-it-is. So we'll get the most moderation around dawn and dusk.

Of my two cats, one whacks the neighbhor's dog on the head every time she meets her, and hte other one wants to be friends with the dog, but the dog is scared of him.
Which is hilarious, givne he's the sweetest little slinky black boy, and the dog ways 5x his body weight.
