Noah (Gabe's son) has gotten into 40K, and it seems as if Noah is beating his dad at the game.
In the new comic from today, Tycho is giving a gift of some new units to Noah, which will help his armies move around the game board more quickly, which would be an advantage. And Gabe is trying to prevent that advantage by throwing the gift away.

I mean, the comic implicitly is about some sort of Loss, but probably not *that* kind.
In particular, Noah plays Deathguard, an army that's largely composed of slow moving, damage sponge, foot soldiers.
So, giving them transports to move around faster would mean shoring up a big limitation of the faction.
