Don't forget to go back to the Section 6 quiz guy for the rewards from the last set of character choice things, it doesn't show up as a red ! on the event page so I only stumbled into it by accident when going there for a hidden achievement.
Also I've finished gearing out and skilling up Miyabi, so now I'm going to start building Harumasa next. Once he's done I'll need to decide if I want to do standard banner rolls to potentially get Koleda or Rina to build or just horde mats.
I've finished the Harumasa training stuff and legitimately still am not sure if I grok how you're meant to play him. I've watched some vids and get the charged BA to activate his dash attacks, but he feels so lackluster in those modes and I legitimately can't tell if I'm still doing something wrong, their build is crap, or what. I'm leaning towards their build since my brief time with Miyabi in her training/story felt pretty bad compared to my norm as far as raw DPS went too and I'm pretty sure that's not actually the case.
Also, HSR, since it's hidden as an 'event' on the 3.0 features page, sync points are getting doubled for DU along with a cheat mode (basically start with an assembled Rupert at 1/3 power) to help people who aren't capped on that to easily max it out. No titles are awarded for using the cheat mode though.
Man got the absolute worst luck out of every event I've ever rolled for in Nikke....110 combined pulls from all the free tickets and deciding to splurge on some tickets myself...and nothing. Got duplicate SSR bodies for Nikkes I don't even use and haven't upgraded. So much so I actually fully 3 star'd Helm who again, I never use. Red Hood Rapi will elude me for the foreseeable future, especially with bills to pay.
I just grabbed her with golden pity-tickets as I had more then enough after giving her banner a few pulls. I'm using whatever extra tickets I got now for Scarlet's banner to see if I luck out getting her.

He feels fine to me in the event, but the top bonus you can pick that grants extra stacks of his stuff (to enable him to spam a million dash attacks) is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Regardless, he's not a super strong character in normal conditions, and it is greatly amplified by him being one of the hardest dps characters to optimize in the game. Getting his dash attack combos in at the right times without overcapping is surprisingly difficult, considering his chain attack and triggering shock both generate his things, and then he gets a bunch more at the end of his basic attack after a chain attack. And a lot of people don't know that you can hold down the skill button after an attack that creates his thingies to quickly transition into an attack that marks an enemy without having to do an aimed shot (I dunno how much faster this is, but it at least feels better).

Nice! I'm just below the golden pity ticket threshold to snag her so I'll keep plugging away where i can.

I decided to test this. I'm not surprised to learn that holding the skill button to do a follow up attack to mark the enemy instead of doing the aimed shot is actually a few frames slower. It's close enough that I wouldn't really worry about it, but hey, good to know.
Add me to the list of people that didn't know you could hold down the skill button to do that. Holding attack makes sense to me since spawning mines happens in other scenarios besides using special.

I really like GFL2 but a new pvp season just started and I feel like a monkey in a Skinner box when I hitting join battle and then exit battle 5 times in a row just to get my participation rewards. Maybe 3 minutes in total for 2 pulls so it's not the stupidest thing ever I've done in a game to get virtual rewards but it's just so blatantly pointless activity it just makes you think.
Man, I was stoked when I read the first tier of pvp has no consequence for losing on defense, so everyone just throws a single doll in your way and everyone wins.
...but I just hit 30 and unlocked that, and every team I can choose from is lvl 32+ and super try hard, what the heck
Just need to use all your free refreshes. You usually want to aim for the furthest to the left one that has a super low power level. Getting less points is fine starting out, but in the long run you want to win the highest value one every time.

I assume where it says "Victory+X" the X is how many points you'll gain?
Does the map you fight on ever change? That seems like a very lopsided map to attack on. Fortunately the AI is dumb, but I nearly got bodied by a Tololo who was content to hide in the back til I moved in.

Yeah. The map's symmetrical, but it feels like going first is a disadvantage of sorts due to the starting distance? Moving up as much as you can makes it easy for the other team to get the first hit in.
Yeah, you want to basically position as far away as you can the first turn, and wait for them to come to you. Then alpha strike Suomi. If you don't kill her in one turn, you're basically done. Also be prepared to chase down their fourth character, who always seems to stay put on the far side as well.
This is all really annoying, so I just stopped bothering, if it's not the one person defense mode.
Not too much I think wasn't well known though. I'm already assuming that Amphoreus's story is going to be totally impenetrable.
I think I've made my peace with picking up THerta E0S1 and prrroooobably Tribbie, though I definitely want to see exactly what she does first. I'm kind of concerned because the last few bosses have all had mechanics where they want a lot of action hits which my eschewing of FUA has left as a hole, but THerta actually is kind of good at that, at least with RTB giving lots of doubled actions, and I haven't been hugely impressed with Aglaea without her pet birds in the few demos I've seen where she isn't getting a huge leg up from a favorable stage blessing. Plus, THerta's ice while I already have Kafka and Acheron on lightning. I'll have to invest in a Hunt or Hunt-like Remembrance character someday, but I guess not yet. And I feel like if you don't have Jade, then THerta's sig is pretty important because her teams are rough on SP. Though Jade's kind of underwhelming without Lingsha as the collector herself since both she and THerta tend to run slow, but then Lingsha is sucking up the SP.
Well, Harumasa's team was unsurprisingly a touch slow, but this feels reasonable to me. He could still use some work on skill levels (particularly the last core skill level), and Rina doesn't have much of a build to speak of, and Anby is Anby. And I also definitely did a poor job of maximizing Harumasa. So considering all that, reasonable.
Anyway, "touch slow" means I still had over a minute to spare, thanks to the first side. And I'm sure that could be done a lot faster; I don't really try to speedrun these.

My pvp is just choosing some guy who only has 1 doll on defense, then I deploy and hit Auto. Then I alt-tab and read reddit and drink tea while the match finishes. Repeat 3x.
In Genshin I collect all the Archons and not much else, so I had a decent stash going into these banners (haven’t played much Natlan at all tho)
Had to go to nearly full pity for Mauvika, ouch. Then upon going to play/build her out I realized how disappointingly reliant she is on other Natlan characters being in the party. Kachina alone wasn’t going to cut it, so I decided to go for Citlali as well. Got her (with an early Keqing 50/50 loss) without going to full pity again, but these two are gonna have to live without their weapons. It’s Wolf’s for Mav and Sac Fragments for Citlali.
It really sucked to have Diona and Bennett on this banner, I gotta tells ya.
Now to build up again, because I’m going to C6 my (C1) Furina when she comes around again.
SD once again had the lower levels being rougher than the higher. If I never have to fight Thanatos again, I'll be grateful. Nothing better than having to chase his stupid fucking ass across the entire stage when he's at 5% HP and just wants to keep teleporting nonstop. Or teleport to the opposite side of the map and shoot at you while you're dealing with the other elite.
SD 7 was a snap. No retries needed, though I suspect that Deadly Asses is going to be where the real endgame is. Still, nice to go to this being weekly endgames.
Ellen/Qingyi/Soukaku for about 1:35 on the front side of SD7. Could probably squeeze out another 10-15 if a straggler at the start didn't fuck off out of the pack and would stay grouped up.
Yanagi/Rina/Burnice for about 1:10 on the back side. Still haven't taken Yanagi off the big-shock rather than AM build. Might just leave her there to be honest.

Kit and relic leaks seem to be coming fast and furious at this point for HSR.
Additional damage (eg Robin's ult or Tingyun's buff) seems to be the big thing for Tribbie and Anaxa with a new planar specifically supporting that which also increases crit rate. The other planar increases HP and memosprite CD, so seems for Castorice since nobody currently cares about those two stats in tandem. So Tribbie, Mydei, and Castorice all seem to be HP scaling for damage with Mydei apparently able to reach staggeringly HP. So maybe kind of like Arlan's passive, except has a ginormous HP pool so being at like 10% HP still means like 3K HP and consumes a ton of HP to do shit.
Tribbie's ult puts down an aura that deals additional damage like Robin's, but is geared to prioritize boss/elites for the damage proc instead of random. Does an AoE FUA when any teammate ults, and then just usual harmony aura buffs on skill.
