My wife gets multiple “top performer” awards at her company each year and in past years always chose an iPad pro- this year I told her to get the SMEG package, not because we needed SMEG, but because she could exchange it at Williams Sonoma for:
Moccaster
Breville grinder
Breville espresso maker
We signed up for 3 bags of beans delivered every 2 weeks as well
It took me a while to dial it in, so much coffee died in the process. But right now I'm pretty happy getting 1:3 shots using a Blooming Espresso profile. 99% of the time these are going into Lattes and Ice Lattes, with the occasional Moca.

I take it black, occasionally of a certain flavor but mostly Peet's medium roast.
I do love the smell of a nice hazelnut coffee though.
I still have a French press and a pour over, but over the last year I've mostly settled on Aeropress for being fast, easy, and clean.
I also got Drew Barrymore's Grinder/Single Cup coffee machine, but it didn't really make a better cup of coffee, and for something where convenience was supposed to be the whole deal it was a pain in the butt to clean afterward.
Julius Meinl is making another big push into Chicago (we used to be the only place with a cafe on the continent, but they didn't last through COVID) and I'm really happy to be able to buy a bag of beans from some of the cafe's around me now. Still not a standalone Viennese cafe of their own, but a few spots in Andersonville. They make rather good coffee, but not pay for shipping from Austria good.
While I much prefer drinking tea, there sre coffee flavoured things I love like coffee flavoured milk and tiramisu. I completely support the existence and enjoyment of coffee.

I'm drinking it black but everyone else is appreciating it as a solid base for some Christmassy Bailey's infused beverage action
