I got my girlfriend tickets to a show at Caesar’s Windsor for her birthday back in March and it’s tonight. Show starts at the same time as the game. Absolute worst timing in the world. I’ll be watching what I can on my tablet on the way home.
I am fortunate my father makes a lot more money than I do.

Thre isn't a direct sub like that, as long as there are 5 guys on the ice it can be 5 defensemen, doesn't matter. So yeah in a situation where there's 4 or 5 guys going off and on at the same time there is no way to declare "I am going on for this person"
And fun fact, if you actually pay attention the way most teams do it is when the forwards change the center is always the first guy to go on the ice, even if it's say, the left winger that goes off. Teams do that that way there's always at least one center on the ice in case there's an icing and the rest of the line cant' change. Its a bit hard to pick up because most of the time at least two of the 3 forwards are changing at the same time, but if it's one guy going off the center is almost always the guy going on.
I've only played on a frozen lake (badly) but from what I know it's one to one, usually when your man is within 5ish feet of the board. Someone else with more playing experience might be able to go into more detail though.

You have linemates, and you coach generally plays you with your linemates. But not always.
For example, calgary doesn't seem to miss a beat with their line changed, but pittsburgh jumbled up with 3rd and 4th lines a bit more.
Defense men are almost always more jumbled. Your top defenseman probably plays 5-10minutes more per game than his partner. But a lot of that is accounted for in powerplay/shorthanded time, but even without that, you often get one defense men that is "stuck" and cannot change without giving the other team a really good opportunity, so they just... Keep playing until it's safe
Edit: I'm slow cause I wanted to find the pretty pictures, and searching for twitters after deleting the app is difficult!

I will say that in the ESPN/ABC games I have watched throughout the season I think their presentation is better than NBC's ever was, but Sean Mcdonough is the most boring play by play guy I've ever listened to. He's very knowledgeable, but just not a great play by play guy. Same was true when he did Monday Night Football. Brings no energy to the broadcast at all.
Weird. He brings a ton of energy to college football. But I haven't watched an American national broadcast in 25 years.
If I was still doing fantasy or started doing gambling, I would probably give money to IneffectiveMath through his patreon. He does good HockeyViz(.com) work
Meh.
Real champions win their 4th game on the road. All 5 times they win the Cup.

And then Luthor, possibly the only actually upstanding person in the group (except possibly Victor, who does lie about some things but is actually right about those deceptions), ends up getting fucked in the end. Gets married, gets murdered within hours of it (thanks to the plan that Allison made happen), has to fight to convince Klaus to do something about it, actually comes back from the dead... and now his wife is gone, possibly not even existing in this new universe/timeline. But Allison has what she wants so fuck everybody else, right? The part where she asks Victor "do you trust me?" before pressing the button? Yeah, I would've vaporized her ass on the spot because absolutely fucking not, there's nothing there to trust. Blast her to atoms and let Five take a look at the control panel before pressing the button. Who cares if she just killed the guy trying to kill them, I don't buy she did that for anybody but herself. Sure, it upset her to see her family actually suffer from her betrayal, but she wanted not-Dad dead mostly because she didn't trust him; otherwise, she would've just watched her family die and maybe felt bad about it later.
Spent a fair portion of the back half of the show wishing they would just stuff both Allison and Diego in a "shut the fuck up box". Diego is just a reactive hostile piece of shit that helps with nothing except trying to aggravate every situation. Completely fixated on driving the Sparrows out of their own house, and completely willing to murder them all to do it despite it being 100% not the Umbrella home anymore. But at least he doesn't spend the bulk of the season lying to the team every chance he gets or betrays them; Diego is an asshole, but he's too stupid to think past the end of a knife and doesn't turn his back on family. Throw alternate-Ben in that box as well; his shitty attitude trying to provoke every situation gets his entire team killed pointlessly
The dance open was great, obviously. Plenty of dysfunctional family antics along the way. Klaus, as usual, basically steals the whole show. Particularly love how while everybody else is fighting about what to do to get into the Sparrow house, he's just repeatedly sneaking in to talk to not-Dad. He gets plenty of screentime but he should've had more since he makes every scene better and there were some that could've used More Klaus.
Definitely tired of the entire team, singly and as a group, just getting their asses kicked and winning only by last-second deus ex machina. Luthor in particular seems to be there as a wildly inconsistent punching bag. First season, a two-ton chandelier drops on him and he's fine. Second season, we see him hit with a rocket launcher and it doesn't even leave a mark. Here? Ben literally kicks him in the face and it knocks him out. The one time he seems to have any actual superpower is after he dies.
But still, I enjoy the show. Something about that nihilistic insistence on stupid family grudges in the face of total annihilation entertains me, and getting to see the Sparrows have all the same shit even without their father controlling them was fun.
I'm about one or two stages away from finishing up Chapter 8 (I just cleared JT8-2), but I haven't really found any of the story to be confusing or obfuscating? What part of it are you confused about?
Well, I mean, I guess there was one part that was very vague and confusing (albeit I think on purpose):
Battle.net Tag: Dibby#1582
The '97 and '98 teams were absolute fucking goons.
Also somehow McCarty was the sixth leading scorer in '97. Also shoutout to Mike Vernon for going from an .899 in the regular season to .927 in the playoffs.
To be fair to McCarty, he did pull this off in a Cup Final:
It's
Being the "king of the Sarkaz" seems to involve some kind of magic genetic memory, or something? Like I said it's still pretty vague at this point.
Also has replaced booze with weed as his drug of choice and by all accounts much better for it. Was a pretty severe alcoholic and I think it was Draper that forced him to dry out.
Edit: Or not. Better angle on the replay.
What the fuck
