For 3*s, Kroos always, she's just incredible early game, best early game Sniper by a large margin. Spot is great, functions as a lane holder and an early game healer. Orchid puts in some work. Steward is Okay, Midnight is functional... but there's better options for Caster/Guard so only really pick if you wanna save Hope.
There's more than a few standout 4*s, but. Jaye is a really good early pick (as well as just in general), esp if you don't have any healing yet. He can solo down some of the beefier assholes. Ethan's great. Click is fantastic, I hard recco getting her to S2M3. May is one of the best Snipers in the game mode. Beanstalk is underrated as fuck she has been key to several of my clears. Gravel is Gravel, she does Gravel Things... stops Sarkaz Lancers dead in their tracks, acts as bait for the 25 sec stun from that fucking Golem, can be deployed to take out some of those random corner enemies, etc. Perfumer is an excellent choice in general but also great for Poison Haze maps (and Lavender will keep Operators up that are out of her range, generally). I've heard Cutter is pretty good but I don't have her leveled.
And honestly like any hard carry 6* will do. Preferably ones that can function just fine at E1. Mountain's cheap and and solo the entire first floor, Eyja is phenomenal. Thorns, but he doesn't come online til promo. Kal'tsit's never not good. Saria can cover a lack of medics and is, well, Saria. Honestly wouldn't recommend an early 6* Sniper because Kroos exists.
There's some good arguments for early 5* picks too. Blue Poison is actually just fucking insane, I've had her more or less solo the entire first floor (and then the entire right side on the final boss, all those fucking dolls). I have her M6'd so she can handle any situation but goddamn S1M3 is fucking bananas. Lappland is actually really solid, a lot of some nastier enemies are susceptible to Silence and Sundial makes her a pretty decent laneholder until you get better ones (and then you swap to Wolf Spirit when you E2 her and stick her in the backline).
honestly tho i mostly go random because Doctors Just Wanna Have Fun. and then my random Temp Recruitment is like fucking Scavenger or some shit and I curse the high heavens.
Definitely work on developing out 4*s though. I still regularly pick Click because E2 Click with S2M3 is legit insane (and there's so many good Collectables that synergize with her). They're cheap as fuck to develop, they only cost 2 Hope, and a lot are legit fucking good.

I do love hitting for 3-4k every 2 seconds on two targets with her m3 twinshot
Matt Tkachuk to Florida for Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weeger, prospect Cole Schwindt, and a conditional first round pick.
Tkachuk resigned for 8 years, $9.5mill. Huberdeau and Weeger are UFAs next year.
Even if Calgary can resign Huberdeau, it's a bad look to lose 2 preeminent players so close together. It's gotta make players wonder about coming to / staying with Calgary.
okay legit tho this was my first time with this passive so I had NO IDEA it was gonna build up that fast

Like, it’s a gacha game I wanna use the characters I gachaed, not fucking spot or whatever
Probably just quit if they make these more regular, I already barely play and didn’t beat the cc map even once
I have the exact opposite opinion, it's my favorite mode in the game. Because I can't just bring Blaze, Thorns, and Chalter every time and stomp on the map. If I do aim for my super OP units, there are costs to doing so. I'm not sure why you'd quit even if you hate it though, you can simply not play it all? They're still doing the normal events and story levels.
-No stamina cost. The roguelike is like CC, except you can play out CC and have no worthwhile reason to come back to it. Being able to play the game for as long as you want and still make valuable progress... what a concept.
-Losses are not the end of the world. If you fail to 3 star an event or story level, you gain nothing and lose stamina that takes hours to recharge. If you lose in roguelike, you gain currency that can make you a bit stronger overall and progress towards mode achievements that don't require wins. Plus, that time was fun, hopefully?
-Your overall team progression makes a direct impact on how you do in this mode, so it gives you a reason to touch Operators you might have literally never fielded in normal play.
The roguelike mode is a permanent mode; all that cycles is adding more pages and rotating monthly squads/missions. The pages unlock a bit at a time regardless of how far you can make it; so you can just do like a daily floor 1 clear or something to progress it as time passes. The squad rewards you get for you just using the team; there's some optional dialogue you can get if you go far enough, but I think you get the material rewards for just trying. The missions only reward candles which helps you unlock the pages, but otherwise doesn't matter. Otherwise, it's a mode you can completely ignore and other than some unfulfilled medals, nothing will impact you.
Speaking of the roguelike though, I did my last run for the month (just had to unlock the last page to get the last reward), and managed to actually take it all the way and beat the 3rd ending. Must say, once you know what you're doing, it seemed way easier than the first two. Though that may be from the couple extra stages you get from the extra floor.
Squad/items:
Wheels tapped to produce an official animation, that's so cool.
And honestly, not even any of the super busted passives either. AND I didn't lose a single life point.
I think I was just so afraid of the outgoing damage before that I was too scared to push the DPS and just murder the fucker. You just burst him down and heal through it and kill him before he spawns too much shit and boom, ez pz
Shout outs to Fang for being my literal only Vanguard and yet still holding down the fort

Teemu Selanne just scored an OT game winner against Detroit in game 5, off one of the worst turn overs I've ever seen.
Did Lilja get run out of town after that series?
Ouch
I'll always remember the 2014 Olympics when Finland went against team USA for the bronze. Selanne got interviewed and was basically "We never thought we'd get this far, it's an honor to even be here." And then they went out and crushed USA.

Using Mountain, I realize...
Original that this was changed from
I have been defeated, oh well, maybe free pulls will get there.
Had to dolphin but I got her in 3 pulls in, so now I have 60 left over to lose the Horn coinflip!
Don't (heh) sleep on Blacknight, i think her s1 solves a lot of the issues Beanstalk has for balancing dp generation and survival of her summon
Gotta say not a fan of this enemies exploding into a bunch of little pieces though. Causing some real headaches.
The high defense tiny coins that bypass block can go straight to hell.
Debating spending yellow certs to get the pulls
Ling fucking rocks holy shit lmao

La Pluma and Ethan (S1) have been hella rocking this event.
// Switch: SW-5306-0651-6424 //
They don't actually have high defense, they just take 30 hits to kill. I used Exu for those because S3 shreds like no one's business. But lots of other Ops can deal with em too. Kjera can freeze them (and the drones have fast aspd), I'm pretty sure they're susceptible to Stuns and such too.
Anyone with fast aspd and multiple hits works great.

Like, it's an arknights event, you kinda expect that, but holy shit is it a lot of reading.
Pretty solid so far, though I really wasn't expecting Blacknight to be so Australian.

La Pluma was the MVP by far, she was basically able to solo hold the center of the map and deal with literally every other enemy besides the big boss, which let me set up with Kroos Alter + the buff army (Warfarin + Aak + Skalter + Suzuran) to just kinda melt it as fast as possible.
Now it's time to figure out some trust farms for the device and RMA stage, cause god I need a shit ton of those.
When you purposely lose over 30 life points on the final boss just to get unlocks :V

Final tally was 162 pulls for pot 4 Lee and pot 1 Ling, with pot 6 Blacknight along the way.
So really not bad in terms of rate, but man would I have loved for that Ling to come earlier. Either way, done with this banner besides daily free single, now it's time to save everything for Horn.
