Fischl is definitely a "set it and forget it" type of character. She drops Oz and switches off to another character, and Oz will do his thing without you really having to worry about him. Her burst is pretty much only used as a way to set Oz again and improve his uptime; you can immediately cancel the animation of her burst by switching to another character. Considering how little time she needs to spend on field to do her job, she is extremely efficient.
Fischl has a couple ways to build her, but usually yeah you just set and forget. She can be fun with superconduct if you give her Rust, she's like a machine gun. Just absolutely destroys stuff.
But then I also enjoyed overload with Fischl and Yanfei. Something about the chaos as everything just flew everywhere was very satisfying.

Oz should definitely stay on field for a good 10 seconds, even after you switch characters. The large bird from her burst only lasts for about 2 seconds (and as I said, you can reduce that further by switching characters), but the important part is that it leaves Oz on the field afterwards.
Her burst doesn't last long but Oz the magical electro turret bird does. Maybe you somehow didn't even notice the bird? He isn't very big.
Its such a strange gimmick. Her other passive of Oz dropping lightning on electro reactions is more useful though.
Fischl does three things mainly:
Oz creates a relatively large number of particles while applying electro at a decent rate
c1 lets Fischl do machine gun things when Oz is down, not usually how she is built but it gives her high physical damage
c6 makes Oz also chase all attacks with more lightning and makes Fischl top tier off field electro application in addition to the energy generation

It was more of a Rosaria and Bennett showcase
I really hate how a units boss materials are dictated by when they came out instead of their nationality
Slingshot and the Recurve Bow (EM stat) are 3* and both good bows that will work fine for Fishl.
Enkanomiya is a really annoying fight too.

it at least has some pretty badass boss music

truly incredible stuff, amazing what you can do to unravel your players just with the power of staring at them as they keep saying things
First, the top 4 floors of the abyss reset their rewards twice per month. So, I will get those 12 stars for the battlepass just by clearing that. Second, I think re-doing floors you've actually completed does work for completing this battlepass objective.
The floors that reset are 9-12.

I probably should do the abyss. I know I'm just leaving those primogems on the floor. But meh.

i've never found the challenge of floor 12 to be 'interesting'... it's just a pure HP spongery whale-check.
even when i have pretty decent units that go with the spiral blessing.. i've still never really managed more than 3 stars easily.
I'm not FTP, but I'm definitely a very low spender. I enjoy building really strong teams, so I really like how the higher abyss floors reward me for that. I feel like it would be underwhelming if the difficulty capped out at what floor 11 is, because the DPS requirements for that floor are pretty lenient for good teams. The fact that my Dehya team absolutely annihilated floor 11 in this cycle despite being unoptimized, and... you know, Dehya, is pretty telling to me.
well sure i could definitely try harder.. but i think what it is .. is that the time challenges of floor 12... just highlight all the little annoying issues that the combat system has. there's all these little ways in which it's just not smooth.
maybe i've just been a bit spoiled by how much more polished PGR and Honkai are when it comes to the "hard" content, that's where my energy's gone lately.
There's definitely a lot of instances in the abyss where chambers are just far more annoying than they have any right to be. I'm personally fine with high DPS requirements (as long as they aren't so high that the require people to pay, obviously), but I have issues when enemies spawn at opposite corners of the arena in waves, just to waste your time running around. Or using combinations of enemies that are designed to repeatedly freeze you. Or bosses with constant downtime. And god help me if we see another floor that inflicts Slowing Water, Condensed Ice, or Engulfing Storm.
I still think GameChanger: Survivor from last season is my absolute favorite, but Escape the Greenroom is up there. Hell episode 1 season 1 the lie detector is an all time great.
