Bleh. Finally getting back to my Huck MkII and my can of Apple Red died. Why? It's literally the only model I've painted with it!

Was sputtering a bit near the end. Also feels like there's still some paint but no propellant.

I think it's just that she's (apparently) the Health reporter for Ars Technica, and health news is generally dry research papers, or sensational & terrifying.

As mentioned, she's their health news reporter and, now that COVID is winding down (el oh el) she's been able to get back to her wheelhouse of finding some of the grossest stories from around the world and filling them with puns.

    She's very good.

Main thing I took from that article is don't forage. Ever. There's a reason humans have been growing our own foods for the past ten thousand years.

Foraging for, like, mushrooms seems neat if you know what you're doing but I wouldn't rely on it for sustenance.

But how else would I get my weekly dose of radiation? I would have to take regular plane trips and those are bad for the environment
    https://www.bfs.de/EN/topics/ion/environment/foodstuffs/mushrooms-game/mushrooms-game_node.html#:~:text=Edible wild mushrooms&text=reached activity levels of more,years (2020 to 2022).
As a result of the Chernobyl reactor accident, certain species of mushrooms and wild game are still highly contaminated with caesium-137 in some areas of Germany.
The contamination of mushrooms depends on both the caesium-137 level near the mycelium and the special accumulation capacity of the respective mushroom species.
Depending on the region and the animal species, the contamination level of wild game may differ substantially.
Those who wish to reduce their personal exposure should not excessively eat wild game hunted or mushrooms self-picked in the most affected areas of Germany.

    Caesium-137 in food
The ingestion of 80,000 becquerel caesium-137 corresponds to an exposure of about 1 millisievert for adults.

The consumption of 200 grams of mushrooms with 2,000 becquerel caesium-137 per kilogram results in an exposure of 0.005 millisievert. This is considerably less than the radiation exposure during a flight from Frankfurt to Gran Canaria. However, if adults eat such a mushroom meal each week, they will receive an additional annual radiation exposure corresponding to about twenty flights from Frankfurt to Gran Canaria. Expressed in numbers it is 0.27 millisievert.

I already think I need Bandai to make some AC6 plamo to go with Koto's Oracle and White Glint reprints.

EDIT: Haven't seen this here yet, 30 MINUTES FANTASY range was just teased.

I'm still scared about posterior pelvic tilt during back squats, especially on my failure rep since my proprioception becomes very not crisp. Not sure how to fix that unless I buy a camera stand and film my last set every leg day

People are almost always worried the other way, the dreaded anterior pelvic tilt, what's got you spooked about posterior tilt?

Posterior tilt is buttwink, right? Where the lower back rounds out instead of caving in above the hip? Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm doing it, and since I'm a freak who once went to squatting 225lbs while I could bench like 95 (I don't know why my arms are like this), I'm afraid of my greedy quads leading me to slice myself in half.

Just got a shipping number for the z180-600mm lens. Seems like it has already been in transit for two days and arrives sometime today.

I am very excited, Starfield and telescopic lenses is an interesting theme of the day.
