(not a double post)
T-Mobile Arena is just fun to see a game at (even if I have to fight my acrophobia to get to my seat.) And we were sitting right under the championship banner, which was cool.
Don't think that would work.
Obviously we're deep into Doctor Who timey wimey logic right now, but of all the surprising things that happened this episode, Loki pruning Old Loki was the least surprising.
there's a ton of speculation I could make about what'll happen
but I remain really interested in what they'll do over the next two episodes
God, yes, I hate every time he opens his mouth. When they first revealed him to be a conman I thought "oh, the goofy voice was part of acting up the eccentric genius bit" but no, that's just how he actually talks.
Old timey. He's Old Timey Victor Timely. I was pumped for Majors as Kang and now I want him to go away. If the next version we meet is Rama-Tut I'm gonna lose my shit.
Why is took the league so long for something like this is….well….it’s the NHL, who knows. Needless to say, the new owners are pissed.
Also, Pierre Dorion is officially out as GM.

And in followup, because the other player involved is Black, the id of the internet is doing what they do worst(cw: racism, hate, general goosery):
I really want to know how they resolve this.
I think
but this was nuts - it was sick
this show is so good
So many people would have been angry, I get it, but the lack of resolution, the possibility of it all, was just amazing. It would have taken massive guts to do so, but man that's all I could think about at the beginning of the episode.
It was a good episode!
I think the mid season trailer gave away too much, and that really bums me out, for how the season will end. I mean, don't think the finale will shake things up too much (in fact I suspect it's going to mostly return it to the status quo, but for a fairly decent reason), but I'd prefer to not have seen any scenes from the finale episode at all.
This episode introduced some...issues that I don't think there will be time to address, that I think maybe we're supposed to just roll with. Namely
Why does Loki assume those variants were the ones that were who he knew in the TVA and not just other variants?
Why didn't Loki think of Timely as one of the auras that needed to be collected? He was there too.
But with the scenes we know we're getting from the trailer (spoilers for those scenes for the finale)
There's just a lot, and unless it's a super long episode, I don't see how it resolves very well? At least relative to the pacing of the rest of the season, it looks like it's going to be a mad dash to the finish, and that's just not how the tone of this season was.
Ah well. We shall see. I'm aware that some media people have seen the finale, so I imagine there will be plenty of spoilers and leaks showing up on the tubernets. I'm going to be avoiding everything outside of the usual Blindwave/Reel Reject reactions and New Rockstars recap of this episode (I usually don't watch their discussion panels until after I've finished a series).

Blizzard: Galedrid#1367 - FFXIV: Galedrid Kingshand
My guesses:
Because he was spasming into their path and only their path? He never saw two of the same person despite jumping around a lot. Felt like a safe bet, especially in "fiction" rules as established. It meets the "why" question.
Timely was not in the room at the time/place he was trying to jump to. My guess is he was already noodled. Also, he probably has a healthy fear of his variants and would rather not, which is why he never spasmed his way in front of a Kang. He was in control of it, even if not consciously.
Far and away the best of the Marvel D+ shows.

It's so weird how, on the technical side alone, we can have Loki and Andor looking so good and competently made, and then the rest of the D+ Marvel/SW shows. And like, I don't know, on probably similar budgets?
Feels like this is going to happen.
Furina and Baizhu in the first half, and a relief that Charlotte will be there as well. Second half is Ayato and Cyno.

i imagine it's going to be like visors where the kids coming up through the system will wear them and it will just be encouraged they continue to wear them
hockey is very bad about doing the right thing if some of the guys think it will make them look like they aren't tough and cool, but at least isn't opposed to allowing the trend to change over time i guess
A lot of the complaints about it, with some legitimacy, is that they've been uncomfortable, bulky, and hot. I actually get, in concept, those issues. The NHL is unique among the pro sports in that it is the only one where players are basically wearing body armor from head to toe and adding more layers, more things, isn't always ideal. Those issues of comfort/feel/heat dissipation do need to be mitigated/solved. Those are all problems being worked on, and the tech has come a long way. It'll get there.
But yes, it will go like visors did and the league will make it mandatory for new players to wear neck protection. It'll just take longer than it should before everyone is wearing it because of it.
The article quoted says something about $25 Mil for an episode of She-Hulk and the CGI still being shoddy at some point.
Marvel, Lucas and Disney just put out content after content after content, just to keep the machine going and at least with Marvel its now really coming to a head that at least some quality control has to be involved.
