    The ending.
The ending is totally surreal because it is Loki ascending to godhood. So, it is totally nuts.
It is showing how a god can undo what a mortal has done.

Reading this, I also just realized that
Loki has fulfilled his reputation as a god of chaos. Everything was ordered under He Who Remains, but Loki broke the order and brought free will to the multiverse in a way that doesn't haven't exploding under a Kang Event Horizon.

In the end he returns to the End of Time, to what remains of He Who Remains chair, turning it into his throne. The rest of the building disappearing around it.

Taking HWR place as the “overseer” of the timelines, just like HWR wanted… but monitoring and protecting ALL of it as opposed to just the Sacred Timeline.

    I appreciate that
the show didn't end with a big CGI punch up, though there was obviously CGI galore involved. Definitely the best of the Disney+ MCU shows, and in my opinion second best of the Disney+ shows overall.
    Truly excellent, I loved it.

Rewatching season one, the effect they chose for Loki grabbing the timelines and empowering them was every similar to him and Silvie enchanting Alioth. In both cases he grabs at misty tendrils before empowering them with a green light. I don't know if we're supposed to take anything specific from that since green is the colour of all of Loki's magic, or was he specifically imbuing some sort of enchantment (maybe that multiversal wars are a bad idea) into every timeline he touched.

So I've been meaning to watch Ms. Marvel in prep for the Marvels, but I'm running into the same problem that I did last time that lead to me only watching one episode and never picking it back up. I'm not a big fan the sort of cringe family-drama stuff. Like the acting is done well enough that I get contact embarrassment and I genuinely have a hard time not turning it off and going to go do something else. The part with her dad in the hulk suit and her reaction is just killing me and i know there's going to be all sorts of drama in the future related to her disobeying them at the end of Ep1. Does the show continue like that or does it lighten up?

The NHL site stats suck and I can't tell for sure, but I think all the penguins wins where Tristan Jarry is the starting goalie are shutouts?

Jarry has 3.5 shutouts, the 0.5 was against Anaheim where he left with a cut eye I jury, but the 3rd string goalie came in and finished the shutout.

Seriously, push through that, it is 100% worth it even for the family time alone.

I would say Ms. Marvel isnt necessary for watching The Marvels, but you may want to go back and watch it after the movie if you find you enjoy the character.

There are a lot of interesting plotlines in Ms. Marvel that are interesting enough, but you will have to put up with a couple of poorly implemented tropes, but in the end its totally worth it IMHO.

In terms of raw fun, it's up there with Hawkeye. In terms of best Marvel show, it's at best in the top 30%. It's definitely worth watching imho, and more tightly woven to the MCU as a whole than say.... Moon Knight.

Okay, first of all, thanks for telling me to push through. I've been genuinely enjoying the series now that I'm past the first episode, but this content warning at the start of ep6 is the most useless thing I've seen

"There are certain scenes in this fictional series that some viewers may find upsetting."

Like, okay, thanks for the heads up? Guess we're playing trigger warning roulette.

EDIT: SOMEBODY really didn't want to write "Warning: This episode contains depictions of gun violence towards minors in a school." did they.

The only Marvel series I won't recommend people push in on is Secret Invasion and I'm still mad about that one. It had proven talent and a proven setting to work with and UGH

Biggest waste of time and flat out worst conceived and enacted of all the Marvel & Star Wars D+ shows. At least the others all have some redeeming qualities to them. I got so mad after every episode of Loki when it would pull up Secret Invasion for what to watch next.

That soundtrack is from a very particular time and subculture.
I would say it is at least demoscene adjacent, if not fully enclosed.

Especially since it had zero impact on The Marvels, despite both heavily featuring Samuel L. Jackson.

Then again, that should also make it easier to just ignore all the stupid decisions it made other than those stupid deaths.

I guess the best thing about Secret Invasion is it seems to be the show that made Kevin Feige look up from his pile of gold and go, “Wait? Who greenlit that hunk of shit? Is this what we’re doing now?”

That show got a producer fired and caused the entire TV division to be overhauled.

For some reason, Marvel wants to be gritty. Don't do that, Marvel.

Now, they are bringing in the Kingpin and Daredevil crap.

The Daredevil show was literally about to repeat the same problem* that Iron Fist had, where apparently the first four episodes didn't even have Daredevil suiting up.

    *One of many, many problems

Gritty is fine if done right. It's going to be weird going from She-Hulk Daredevil to gritty Daredevil though in the same universe.
