Naw.
I'm just tired of the music she blasts directly down at me every afternoon anymore.
I didn't sleep good last night and I'm in a sad mood and need a nap and it's like she can read my mind when would be the exact right time to be a jackass about it.
This was shaking my walls ass hear all the lyrics clear as day fuckin music right when I was trying to wind down into a much needed nap.
It doesn't help this is the same woman that used to yell slurs at her ex boyfriend 3 or 4 days a week.
It surprisingly doesn't bother me that much. I was only going to use the PC login to do trades and maybe content that the Switch struggles on (trust me there are some things I could tell you, LOL). And I don't mind doing all of my trades from the PC account anyway. It's much faster to trade prime junk while I'm using the PC anyway than having to boot up the Switch and login (which could take up to 5 minutes before I'm in the game) just to do a quick trade.
Also, I'll probably continue to play mostly on the Switch anyway. Switch 2/pro/super/next should be coming next year sometime so we should get a good boost to the gameplay. Also also, I don't play games on my PC much. I try my best to keep the PC for work/professional stuff anyway and my gaming separate.

I'm really struggling right now and I'm not sure what I can do to make things better anymore. I'm struggling with my physical health now more than ever before and not getting any answers from doctors yet and I'm worried, I always thought, hoped that if I could somehow gather myself up and tackle some things that I could eventually make myself more comfortable and carve myself a happy enough little life. But I'm running on very little hope now. If any.
Ontop of that I'm dealing with seasonal depression and isolation, it feels like I've got nobody to talk to about anything, and that it wouldn't matter if I did. I've got a therapist I see as regularly as she has time to schedule me but it isn't cutting it because besides here and my mom I'm pretty socially isolated especially after uninstalling Facebook earlier this afternoon. And it's difficult to form real connections with anyone because I'm so scared of being hurt, hell I'm scared of not being hurt but being perceived at all because I'm so unhappy with who I am and where I've gotten myself that I know I'm just a burden on people around me at best and actively toxic at worst.
I feel like maybe by spring I'll feel a little better not least of which because my car will be paid off and hopefully I'll have some medical answers and the seasonal affect will get better. But I'm starring down a long cold scary winter. I wish I could hibernate like that SNL bit with Chris Farley and the bucket of medicine. But at this point I'm not even sure those things will make me feel better
Sorry but I needed to vent this someplace.
Hopefully nobody is too mad at me for it
Do you have any guitar goals for the winter? It's the perfect time to practice, all cooped up inside!
It's difficult to practice as much as I would like given me not wanting to piss off the neighbors which I could just plug in my headphones I suppose but that makes it harder to put on my metronome or something to play along with but I still try to get in a few hours a week
I dunno anything super specific, mostly I spend time drilling scales and simple chord changes (I should work on Barre chord movements and triads up and down the neck) but as far as songs I'm still kinda caught in the beginning category of knowing a few melodies and riffs but nothing that feels complete. I suppose I could learn the rest of capo 2 (wonder wall) to bring my acoustic to places and annoy peoplem
You can get cables for like 10 bucks on Amazon that contect your computer directly to your guitar through the audio input. Then you can listen to your guitar through your computers output and use any number of free metronome softwares or web apps, as well as every kind of effect pedal and room sound you can think of and even play along to songs on YouTube or record yourself or whatever.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
Steam
I should try that
I'll probably have to get a license for reaper so it stops nagging me and look up how much amplitube is
Oh yeah that's true
I forgot
There are two inputs that show up when it's plugged in one is a wet signal the other is just the dry guitar input
I'll just have to register reaper then
hey I got it working!
Kinda
There is lots of latency, or if I make the buffer smaller a bit of buzzing but a much more reasonable lack of noticeable latency
Still pretty cool. I recorded a track of my playing a simple set of chords nice and slow and improvved over it a bit, that was fun.
If you go to the settings, what driver is it using? In my experience, the first thing to do in any DAW is to make sure it's using the right ASIO drivers and that fixes any latency. ASIO4all is an option if there aren't any manufacturer suggested ones for your amp.
Haven't felt super good all day
Yeah I think that's the reason I put like 7k hours into Warframe and bounced off of Diablo IV as soon as I hit the end game.
In fact I don't even know that I'd call Warframe a grind because you get to work towards things.
I mean you still needs drops to build a new Warframe or whatever but the grind is generally reasonable (with a few notable exceptions) so you aren't just blindly hoping for the right random rolls on the random stats on the right item to drop.
Diablo IV is still the same old grind for RNG drops and I think I've been burned out on that since Borderlands 2.
If anything my warning for new players is do not under any circumstances try to do everything at once because imo one of the biggest flaws of Warframe has that there's arguably too much stuff you can do.
There are parts of Warframe I still haven't touched, or barely dipped a toe in.
(and not just the icky ones I have personal issues with - stuff like Liches and Sisters, that I've just never gotten around to)

And the other thing that was fun for me, farming out Warframes and weapons, feels duller once I'm playing less often. Since really, if you're putting effort into that it means you're wasting time on the subpar version of stuff, since only relic grinding and opening gives you good stuff, and the next time I fire the game up there's a decent chance the prime will already be out. Still feel like mastery or ownership of base units should be necessary for Primes.
Based on my experiences, it seemed kind of difficult to not have already met the requirements by the time you reached them on the star chart?

The risk with that is getting soft locked to daily resets on "complete 3 Sorties" and "Scan 5 Simaris targets" and I think you can only get three refreshed weeklies active at a time.
