    BANPREIOS!?!? Oh man, that's awesome!

No sign that it separates, so I’m assuming it’s just the combination plus R-Gun (as seen in the images on the PB listing) that makes up the kit.

At least I hope to god at that price the R-Gun is included

I posted in the holiday thread, but as a quick update:

Bought my first gunpla model last week.

Then a few days ago I figured I should start watching one of the shows since I've never seen one before and it feels like wearing a shirt for a band I've never listened to (even if I mostly just think giant robots are neat), so I started in on Iron Blooded Orphans.

Then today I found out that I live a couple of miles from the self-proclaimed "Largest Gundam Retailer on the East Coast."

    Oh boy.

Iron-Blooded Orphans is pretty great, good pick.

And the newest series, Witch from Mercury, should be 100% free on YouTube as well. If you do watch it, make sure to start with Episode 0.

I have to admit that the only Bonewidow power I use with any sort of regularity is it's 1 (the grab&healthdrain power).
I should use the shield more, but I don't.

P.S: Rename thread "[Warframe] Bird is the word"?

The only one I rarely use is it's 3, but that sword is too dope not to use. Especially with it's shield, hell yeah you can't fuckin touch me lemme swing my energy sword and annihilate everything in front of me

I just tested this and yeah they're exclusive, even the physical damage ones. Mobilize is also included, which doesn't deal damage at all but I guess it's based off the parkour and bullet jumping. You can still use one of the Amar/Nira/Boreal's Anguish mods, and stuff like Synth Reflex, Proton Pulse, Motus Signal, and Endurance Drift are also all fine.

That reminded me of my wall latch build for Loki. I basically put every mod I own that increased wall latch time on him, then added mods that reduced damage while airborne or added effects to him while latched. He can stay latched for about 2.5 minutes and has 50% damage reduction while doing so, plus gets increased crit and status chance with rifles. I can stick on a wall and snipe or whatever, it's pretty fun. I wish I had that one aura that increases wall latch time, but I rarely did arbitrations before and haven't done any since I started playing again.

So this season of What If was really strong. The lost season one episode (where Iron Man meets the Grandmaster) is more or less "What if Jeff Goldblum was a complete ham for half an hour?" They really did get Cate Blanchett back as Hela for her episode, and made the most of it. The Native American episode was respectful and fun and I want to see more of her character. And a good amount of Captain Carter! Get this woman her own series/movie already.

IGN's got a good behind the scenes breakdown with the writers/creators of each episode. Turns out Jon Favreau had a specific request for his return to What If:
He wanted to turn into The Freak, which is something that actually happened to Happy Hogan in the 1960s and everyone forgot about except Favreau.

If we timey-wimey it so he's been in the heart of all the multiverse stuff since the Sacred Timeline split up, maybe he created/recruited the Watcher to keep an eye on things? The Aerial High Grade kit is pretty fantastic for a HG. You can really see the decades of practice at kit design on display here. Most of the other HG kits I've put together have a lot of "snap these two halves together to make one piece" in the internals steps, but here most of the joints are molded so the joint itself is the connection point, and they've managed to make a lot of moving parts less reliant on pegs being fitted into softer plastic sockets.

My only complaint is that I wish it came with some open hands? Seems like that used to be standard, it's hard to make emotive poses with just the fists.

And for anyone else considering this kit, pay attention during leg assembly because it's possible to put it together wrong a few ways. First I made two left legs, then I got the thighs backwards, then I got the knees backward.

I have brain worms where I hate doing this cause then the stages feel even more disconnected from the story than normal

I used to feel the same way, but I kept rushing my playtime of events and feeling way too pressed for time (you can play a stage on a 15 minute break from work, you can't safely read some of these novellas in that time). Trying to force the readings made it feel way more like work. So I started just playing and saving the reading for later.

But... to be honest I'm also now SUPER behind in the readings, which is kind of regrettable, but I still enjoy just improving my roster and playing all the content. So it's not that big of a problem, all the stuff is there for me to read when I ever feel like doing it.

Speaking of events, I assume these reruns I see coming up periodically are reruns of past events? So if I miss an event or don't complete it, I can just wait for a rerun to come around?

Yep, they do reruns to catch up newcomers and not force such a brutal dev churn of all new content (the latter is my presumption). Playing the rerun for the first time gets you all the important rewards you missed, replaying it gives you a nice chunk of easy to receive resources.

I've never seen it anywhere that the Watcher's have a boss or are working for anybody. They're some really old really advanced species and have vowed to not interfere simply because of the nature of what they do and the danger of interference. The vow is something they've taken on themselves because of awareness of the dangers of their great knowledge and reach, not something dedicated to a higher authority.

Apparently the Dreaming Celestial revealed that both the Celestials and the Watchers are the servents of a "concept" called Fulcrum, whatever that means.

Also the reason they don't interfere is some Star Trek style, Tollen-from-Stargate-ass "we interfered once, it went terribly, we're never doing that again."

Yesterday I was asked how much I'd charge to assemble a Liger Zero for a friend. She doesn't want to build it, but she wants to have it. I was like.. "well, nothing, you are a friend right?"

So maybe that kind of accountability will get me the spark to get back into building again. I am still not sure if it is the painting or lack of prep space that has killed my motivation to build stuff.

You might know already, but there are open hands available for Aerial. Unfortunately, they come separately with the Mirasoul flight pack. Pretty annoying if you don't care about the flight pack, and of course everyone wants the open hands because of that one scene.
