Oh shit, Faruzan is on a banner that isn't Wanderer's. I guess I'm rolling.

Don't really have a lot to roll with after the last couple of patches, but we'll see what happens.

Update: Well, I did get a Faruzan, but I still need several more. Progress, I guess.

I don't think I'm going to go to pity on this banner, so windy things will have to wait for another day.

Practice, study and, honestly, just vibes.

theoretically you could practice getting a sense of where you’d want to scribe the plastic by using a pencil or such to draw the design you want to carve in, that way if it’s no good or off you can just remove it and start again before ever etching out any of the plastic

Typically I find folks do it because they like the visual aesthetic of a unit to be made of more discreet armor panels. I think it can be a bit excessive sometimes but I can see why sometimes folks would want to break a larger contiguous armor panels into smaller ones (it is, of course, one of the elements you see when Bandai modernizes the RX-78-02; all that smooth armor becomes more discreet, interlocking panels)

With the out-of-season warmth in my area enabling rattlecan painting once more, I am beginning to consider a photo station setup.

What kind of lighting should I be looking for? I could get one of those ring lights in either white or the rainbow colors.

And what about the background material? A long roll of paper? Canvas? A cheap white shelf?

For lighting, honestly i picked up some Ulanzi VL 49 RGB’s a couple years back because they seemed interesting and could be useful in more pro set ups than just the scale model shots I was doing and they’re amazing, while being shockingly cheap. Like, these things are shockingly bright for their size at full power, and they charge via USB C so that’s a plus. I got two of those plus an Ulanzi cube (this one isn’t RGB, but its brighter than the other two combined, literally, on full blast) and they’d be perfect for setting up a 3 point lighting system for your kits.

background Paper works fine for kits if you want, and you can find some photography light boxes (not to be confused with a drawing light box, totally different concept) pretty cheap these days that are collapsible and store in a bag not unlike a reflector would have for storage and transport, just keep in mind even a small one will be bigger than you probably expect on your first go around once it’s unfurled and you’ll need an appropriate space to fit it. The One I had had some fabric backdrops that go with it too so that was a plus, but I forget the brand off hand without digging it out at the moment.

That is one of the problems I have I want the Tie Fighter in 1/350 .
There are no hobby stores on this side of town [and few others carrying models anymore} So the only place I can go is online and the price is??? If I go to round2corp They have a link to autoworld for it being the usual rate on ebay of 85 The bird of prey on the same site is 38

I have the reliant and defiant models I got at work but I was going to rename them

It seems they got rid of the resin kit for the 1/350 Klingon d7 and did a new kit with a new light kit and photoetch for it

Did you mean to a say a Tie Fighter? The Enterprise-A was 947 feet compared to a Tie Fighter's 24 foot length. That would put it at roughly one fortyth of the size of their other 1/350 kits, it would be smaller than a shuttlecraft.

    24 ft / 350 = 0.06857 * 12 inch / 1 ft = 0.823 inches.

I know this is from several pages back
the 1/350 Tie Fighter is the high end for AMT kit

Not really sure what artifact set to use with Xianyun though. VV is an obvious choice, just need someone with infusion to do plunging attacks with.

Besides the characters who already liked to do plunge attacks (Xiao, Gaming), there's a few others who can definitely benefit from it, like Diluc. That said, if you happen to have both Furina and a C6 Bennett, then a potential answer is "any melee attacker".

I'm back to trying to make Ronan work, this time with grandmaster

I feel like it's so, so close. I can get good wins, and it generally feels like I have SOME play line available most turns. but it's still so difficult to get through turn six and still have power left in the Ronan+mystique play

I dunno this is my list rn, any ideas?

    Ice Man
    Grandmaster
    Master Mold
    Psylocke
    Scorpion
    Maximus
    Mystique
    Gladiator
    Werewolf by Night
    Iron Lad
    Sera
    Ronan

Immediately I'd call out that maybe werewolf should go, even with all the on reveals there just isn't time and space to get him huge. Psylocke is basically only a turn 3 play to get sera or Ronan out early, so maybe she can go? I dunno it feels like filling someone's hand with sentinels and hitting them with scorpions and ice mans should be pretty debilitating but most decks don't really seem to care much

edit: I was trying most more of a Ronan/darkhawk combo build earlier, maybe if I can make room for the korg+rockslide package again that'll give it some juice

Kristen is being kind of an asshole and it seems like its going to be addressed next episode but it's still kind of weird given what she learned about Gods last season that she didnt think maybe being a flake about your cleric duties would have repercussions
They quickly set up a couple conflicts for this story for the next couple of episodes. It seems a bit transparent, actually, what the main academic and personal conflicts are going to be this season for each character, but there are always a few surprises down the road.

When I played Ronan, I was running Jeff's list:

    Spider-Ham
    Nico
    Master Mold
    Shadow King
    Jeff!
    Maximus
    Mystique
    Crystal
    Shang Chi
    Enchantress
    Ms Marvel
    Ronan

Although Cozy's list was good too:

    Master Mold
    Baron Mordo
    Maximus
    Mystique
    Crystal
    Mobius
    Wave
    Ms Marvel
    Iron Lad
    Sera
    Ronan
    Doctor Doom

Personally, I think Mobius is very good in the meta right now. Lots of cheating going on with Beast Bounce, SheNaut, and Sera decks.

Cue immediate complaints that it's underpowered. Alternatively, scaling causes it to accidentally destroy the whole system.

I do feel like there's some scale issues with involving the orbiter or railjack in the combination though.

Clickbait article, but the gist of it is that Echo, which has been incredibly successful in driving engagement with Hawkeye and the Netflix shows, only cost $40 million to make over the 5 episodes, which is about the same as a 13 episode season of Netflix Daredevil, but like a fifth of the cost of 6 episodes of local tire fire Secret Invasion.

    https://www.cbr.com/echo-budget-40-million-mcu-tv-record/

Here's the question: what have they learned from the street level show being successful? It isn't that they should greenlight a season 2 of Echo, at least not yet.

I imagine Secret Invasion's budget ballooned on account of the cast.
